Today 150 was very much a possibility and he threw it away after all the tuk tuking he did to last till the last few overs. He has this ugly cross batted swipe which he executes well on Indian pitches. Although they call it a sweep it is nothing like the sweeps that another keeper Alan Knott played off of Bedi/Chandra that I saw in person at the Wankhede. The Finisher missed that "sweep" vs Pak.

Sad to see the same old story being repeated with him. This guy certainly has the ability. It's a shame he wasted a very good chance today to score at the end.

vvvslaxman Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Make no mistake. I have zero faith in pant as well. But we have to start building around him or Sanju or Kishan. My expectations from all our keepers is low. But Samson/Kishan have showed some sparks recently.
