Bhuvi is good in his forte, has been for years...let me think about comparisons n tell you, for ex, Bhuvi could from time to time find a place in Pakistani playing xi for his good points, but a bowler like arshdeep would find hard to have a place in domestic/local teams in Pakistan, n here he is playing for India :/

No one is going to announce retirement.Already the team for Bangladesh and NewZealand are selected.

They will.take break and joined the as nothing as happened.

 

The selectors will select such players that the seniors can just walk in the playing 11 when they desire.

There is still time. Rohit needs to be booted out of ODI and test captaincy,too. How on earth you can make 35 year old full time captain. Also the guy is always goes missing in overseas test series as he is injured always. Just duffer thinking. Also it just shudders me to think that KLR is next captain. Horrible horrible days ahead,time to focus on my own career now and bid adieu to cricket man !!!!

Arshdeep has decent pace. He is a decent prospect. Faster than Bk, swings the ball, good Yorkers.

Ok so what? He's done * all since the inaugural WT20 in every KO match that I can think of , except that QF against Bangers in 2015 but that's one good innings & about 2 dozen failures

perhaps he's good at COD (crying on demand), and the selectors needed someone like him at the helm. these days PR stunts are very important vis-a-vis casual  fans, who are the majority (unlike on ICF)

Bhuvi is a nothing bowler for sometime specially in fast, bouncy but flat pitches of Australia. I dont know why some posters are failing to comprehend that . Arshdeep may not be super fast, but he is accurate, looks mentally strong and also a lefty, so brings that variation to the line up.
