Bhai, both are raddhi. We produce at least 3 bowlers of Buzdil's calibre in Ranji every year. 

 

KL is too secure atm I feel. He was in his best form when he was constantly yo-yoing in and out of the team.

I didn't, just checked the scorecard in between & after the match ended headed to post mortem w/ICF

Both are mirror image of each other.

KL has all the shots in the book, but he is so weak mentally that he just gets overwhelmed with the situation and get scared...I wonder what he will do in his marriage when all photographers will line up to take his pictures.

 

Bhuvi similarly has great new ball skills, but just like KL he is mentally so scared that instead of pitching the ball up to induce the edge, he keeps on bowling back of length deliveries which will miss the edge. His sole purpose is to not go for runs.

Yes that's a big issue with 90% of the team - they're too secure in the boys club & don't work hard at their game! No worries though because this is India & we're used to it.

that's what I said. Bhuvi just isnt good enough even skill wise (might have been useful in 90s)

 

Rahul OTOH is definitely very talented and thus more frustrating

I don't think he is..... he plays the shots stylishly but that does not mean he is talented. Looking good and being good is two different things.

 

On the Windies boards in the past there was similar talent talk about Marlon Samuels - he looked good playing shots like another older Windies  player Lawrence Rowe - but it was all a mirage. Marlon fizzled out and Rowe had a big series in 1973 vs England in England but was found out by the pace of Lillee and  Thomson in the Aus series Windies lost down under in 1975. People on that board were talking about this.

He was the best bat in 2017 test series vs Oz, in fact he had a better record away from home than in India till the time he was dropped for Brat's buddy thigh slapper in SA! Brat has done more harm to our batting stocks than many realize or conveniently forget because of his "oh so lovely" fifties this WT20.
