• Good use of bouncers and short stuff.

• Yorkers.

• Not giving width, bowling wicket to wicket.

• Natural bounce off surface may have helped.

Looking at Curran's Success did we miss a trick by not playing Arsal Patel .

 

Well, big boundaries is another thing, but he doesn't ball allot of hitme deliveries, that's commendable.

Harshal only has cutters.

 

Curran can bowl yorkers can swing the ball early on. Control is pretty good.

Harshal looks like a faster(better?) version of the undercutter! I doubt he'd have made too much of a difference on these surfaces, especially Adelaide.

He has a pretty sharp bouncer too. Having said Arshdeep is no less. He has all of them.

He's a sensible bowler. Bowls the right lengths and importantly, bowls to his field. Doesn't melt under pressure. 

 

And lack of height is not always a bad thing for a seam bowler. Short bowlers have much lesser trajectory and are skiddy because of that which ends up hurrying the batters.
