They got to semis without him doing anything. How was Kohli captain bad according to you , he had more or less same team. He has been getting the team to semis and finals of every tournament except 2021 t20 where they lost one additional match.
SecondSlip Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 It's been over a week since India's 10 wicket loss to England in the semi final. The fact that this shameless mofo still hasn't announced his retirement from T20 cricket shows how dirty the BCCI is. Frustrated 1
dilliboy Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 This bozo needs to be shown the door.. bringing back his old mates in DK and Ashwin while destroying the careers of Pant, Bishnoi and many others Frustrated 1
Majestic Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 Deepak Hooda 4 wickets now. And then our No-hit Sharma had no clue of using his bowling just because his favourite off-spinner was struggling to pick wickets. Number and Lord 1 1
Number Posted November 20, 2022 Posted November 20, 2022 (edited) Must be sacked from captaincy in all 3 formats and Dravid needs to go away as well for not bowling Hooda. If Hooda had played as AR we could have included a leggie in the XI. Edited November 20, 2022 by Number Frustrated 1
Frustrated Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 If not for that DK' unbelievable knock against toygers in the Final, we would hv lost nidhahas trophy under this fatso' captaincy as well. His own batting was not upto the mark in that match too. Vijy and Clarke 2

His own batting was not upto the mark in that match too. I had said the same thing then, was foolish to send Shankar ahead, already had to deal with Pandey before that. DK pulled out a rabbit once and bhakts went gaga calling the idiocy as genius. Even in the IPL despite having a star studded team, there were some pretty close finals then went to the last delivery or so. IPL isn't some gold standard and bambai should have won multiple trophies in any case. He may have done ok in earlier years, pulling the team with the bat in hand like Kohli and not having a rough environment in the dressing room, but going by selections & on field decisions the team wouldn't have won major trophies. Number Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 Has anyone heard interviews of Rohit himself and a few other players. Kohli and a few others have said that Rohit suffers from forgetfulness. Like he routinely used to forget things like passport at home while travelling. Now his wife assists him with these things. Although it is a common thing but I believe it tells that he is not a sharp person. Frustrated, Vijy and Clarke 2 1

zen Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 Against Aus, India lost a rare ODI series at home. India failed to capitalize on key moments by not taking the initiative, allowing the game to drag.
kubrickian Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Not just his captaincy, Fatman's batting also has taken a sharp nose dive ever since he became captain. Better to make Hardik the captain or just be dropped from ODI team altogether (along with Dravid) if India harbor any hopes of doing well in the World Cup.

The thread is more or less discussing the action he takes! In LOIs, people rate Dhoni higher as captain than Kohli who has a better W/L ratio.

A captain with highest W/L ratio may not be best captain, there might be better captains e.g. Dhoni as rightly pointed. He might be a middling captain. But how can a captain with highest W/L ratio be dumbest captain? If India is expected favorable W/L ratio, then what's the expected result for Rohit when he was just dumb, but not the dumbest?

Rather than posting meaningless points and using unrelated stats (you yourself showed the irrelevancy by citing Dhoni's example), follow the thread and you would know the answer, if you haven't so far, duh!
