People here think Rahul can be easily dropped, I have a news for them.

During WC when squad for NZ tour was announced, Indian team management asked selection committee to rest Pandya and make Kela the captain for the NZ tour. Chetan Sharma put his foot down and refused to let that happen. 

Vikrant Gupta and Rahul Rawat were discussing about it a few days back.

So I don't think Kela is going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes, it was selection more on merit given all the sure XI were injured. However, India management learned nothing from it going forward.
