I feel fans also need to have realistic expectations. We are rebuilding T20 team from scratch. Ofcourse they are going to need time to settle. Cant expect magic from day one. Another issue, when we get an aggressive or loudmouth  captain then we want someone mature. When we have someone like that then he called lack of passion.

Pandu is alright for a volatile format for T20...  I won't want him to be a ODI captain yet. 

Thing is we need specialist white ball coach & staff.  These Rathore & Mhambrey are Sunday league part time uncles coaching a team.

Rohit had nice mindset leading upto last t20s but he carried useless Rahul who ruined Rohit also. You don't need to change personal, you need to change the coaches and there by the outlook of the team.

 

Dravid and now Laxman never had an aggressive outlook during their playing days so it is foolish to think they will be anything different as coaches.

Rohit was already ruined. Rahul didn't ruin him. He has always been bilateral bully in t20s , he has been bullying in Bilaterals T20 series way before Rahul debuted... Nice mindset means zilch if you cant materialize it in real tournament.

This is hardly a new team barring Mavi. All these guys were picked and played in the useless t20 series India played preceding the wt20. 

 

The thing is India don't have talent. No matter how much we boast about IPL and all the stuff, it is mediocre team. Pandya getting captaincy is proof of that. Hardly any u-19/IPL superstar has been able to stamp their authority in International cricket. Gill for example is just a copycat version of KLR in t20s. Few innings here and there at this young age and he will be lauded for average, called next Kohli etc.. The thing is TM and fans will encourage another safe and conservative approach. Chahal the chomu is still being picked which is just atrocious. Even gully mohalla team would smack his bums throwing him out of the team. Not fit to be even ballboy. This is guy is our prime spinner.  Indian cricket is doomed. This is just beginning with T20 team.  ODIs and Tests team are in bad shape,too. Worst is yet to come though..
