Not many 'attacks' threre, I have found these so far. Sensible ones actually.

Disagree with the second one a bit.

its not Gill v Ishan, but Ishan v Rahul

Why is Rahul fixed at 5.

Prasad was the bowling coach when Dhoni started ODI captaincy in 2007-08 . The bowling was terrible in that period .

Why is he singling out Gill, when useless KL is there ? Substitute a WK for another one.

He is singling out KL Rahul. He clarified that

It is unfortunate that Prasad does not have much clout, but maybe that is why he speaks common sense. It is the harsh reality that we are a mediocre side. If the audience is deterred away from IPL due to international performances, sponsors will start retracting and maybe then BCCI will choose to do something unique. But who are we kidding, RCB has been celebrating King for his mediocrity for the past decade.

What an idiotic statement from Venky. Money and power does not mean that you need to have the best team also in all formats.

Talent does not grow on trees or is sold in stores to buy.

There has been lack of talent in the country for last decade and results have been a reflection.

Question to Venky when did India have real champions. Lot of Indians seem to suffer from this delusion about India being a constant champion.

India entering 4 U19 world cup finals in a row and winning 2 of them is definitely a sign of talent availability. Unfortunately IPL is used as a platform to select players due to sponsors influence. Lot of players undeservingly got picked. Undeservingly rested or dropped or permanently removed without even getting chances. Players get dropped and picked based on one IPL innings. SOme of them even become vice captains. India lacks killer instinct. His point about attitude is dead on. Yesterday Pandya was not really showing any kind of seriousness. It is almost like you can lose a match with zero consequences.  Same with Rohit in the WTC final. He is not going to lose his captaincy, Rahul Dravid is not going to lose his coaching. It doesn't matter if they lose in Bangladesh, West Indies, don't qualify for even Asia cup final. Thanks to spinning all rounders and Pant we are somewhat decent in Tests.

Who said that  winning under 19 is about actual talent which can be translated to next level. It has got nothing to do with real cricket. very few of under19 player make it big.

How well so called real talents like Unmukt Chand or Harmeet singh or Shaw have been doing. I am talking about cream of the crop. Latest can't miss talent Shaw is not even playing for his Zonal team and riding the bench there as of today.Yes they will have few players who will graduate to main stream. It does not mean India is loaded with talent.

Who are those who have been dropped permanently. What real talented player has been missing out due to selection error in last decade?

Leander Paes and Ramesh Krsihan won junior grand slams. How did they do in men's tournaments. How many junior champions have become major champions. I know it is a different sport but winning under 19 means very little in big picture.

History says. Almost all the top stars played in world cricket were former under 19 stars. That has been the case over a decade. Given that other countries with limited winnings producing so many talents India winning u19 multiple times should produce more players given that pool is bigger for us.  Eswaran was picked for a series. Never given a chance. Priyank Panchal was never given a chance. Sarfraz was never given a chance. But IPL star SKY was fast tracked to ODI and Test.  Ruturaj had two back to back great Vh seasons. Never in consideration for ODIs. But got picked for Tests knowing fully well he won't be part of the XI. You need to give these players a run. You cannot persist with the same oldies forever. One of the reason you get the impression there is no talent because we didn't phase out several players at the right time. Kohli should have been kicked out atleast an year back. Rahane, Pujara should have been permanently sidelined an year back.  Jaiswal already showed he is better than any Indian batsman currently.

Koolie fans are suffering from short term memory loss,a talentless side with almost everyone absent from the 1st choice side beat a full strength Aussie side that too after being 0-1 down,in Australia

Yeah, must be fluke to compete in a 4 test long series in 2021, for a talent starved side

Remember most sides can't even beat this Aussie side in their backyard, let alone winning away

Chhhhh,no talent sorry :congrats::finger:

Rishabh Pant is the definition of talent. That guy is from 2016 under-19 batch.  Made impact even in 2018.
