89 to 92 these 3 years Manjrekar used to score runs for fun while sleeping.. mumbai used to rule indian cricket.. the line up was Vengsarkar Shastri Tendulkar Kambli Manjrekar.. the other two batsmen were best friends azhar and sidhu.. and in waiting list ajay jadeja.. india won only one test abroad between 1986 to 2000 against lanka… The spell was broken in dhaka 2000 bd debut test and then outside subcontinent by surprise surprise ashish nehras bowling against zimbabwe in bulawayo 2001.  We have come a long way fair to say..

Not sure why the focus is on hair (or lack of) and legs when he is batting well. Many others manage to play even after not looking fit. 

 

They can surely start with giving him some T20 matches.

I heard the smoking (cigarette) and Alcohol rumor too. 
 

marijuana might be a little too serious because it is an illegal substance in India.

 

As long as it doesn’t effect his fitness not sure having a drink or smoke on his personal time shouldn’t be a problem at all.

 

Ben Stokes apparently was so stressed that he had a smoke between the super overs in the World Cup final. Not that it’s a great and ideal thing but no one made a big deal about it.

 

However if the rumor  is true that he is seen smoking in prohibited areas or around important people which is seen as disrespect in our part of the world, then the matter becomes serious which I think is what the overarching rumor says.

 

Having said that, who cares what he does in personal life, should be allowed to play in T20 at least but time Shaw also realizes that talent and even performance can take you only so far, you need to meet people half way. SRT, Dhoni never stepped on any powerful people or offended them. Kohli too once he got too big he was cut to size by BCCI. Shaw needs to make some changes too and not to his game but his attitude if rumors are true.

In terms of authenticity of the news .. everyone in rizvi college knows it. But again in college life everyone tries these things..but i guess he needs to buckle up..
