It was decent batting track where India scored 400. It was nowhere close to day 4 and 5 tracks. Don't watch match on scorecards only.

Jadeja and Axar can't bat for Australia. India got to bat only in 1 inning that too with weak batting line up consisting of deadwoods like Pujara and KL. India was also missing their in form batsman Iyer. An in form batting unit would have scored 1000 runs in 2 innings there.

400 is not some runs. Lyon is experienced and one of the best spinners in world atm. Australia had world #1 bowler in Pat Cummins. It's a strong bowling line up. Boland averaged 13 in test cricket then.

No team scores 400 runs on pitches turning like 4 and 5. When was last time any team scored 400 on turning track on day 5 in India?

It's one thing to criticize players, other to be dishonest about a particular match/series.

Saurashtra would have batted better against our main Indian side.  Ignoring blindly the lack of adaptability of opposition is ridiculous. Your explanation is falling on deaf ears lol

Just one correction. Cummins is not the best bowler in the world. Never was outside Oz, nz and England conditions.

If he prefers pace then just say it. I like pace too. Pace and spin should be the way to go in India. Good bounce for fast bowlers. Good turn for spinners. Everyone is happy. Including harpic.

I did watch parts of the game.  No need to unnecessary try to “dishonestly” defend a pitch just because it is in India, which has a reputation of playing on tailored pitches (not amount of logical fallacies can change that). For e.g., againsy Eng in a test at A’bad, Pant & Sundar took India to 350+. It was a pitch assisting spin as well.

Already written on the inexperienced Aus bowling attack esp. for the conditions (don’t know what posting bowling averages of a bowler who played like 6-7 tests changes. Such new bowlers can be a hit esp. if they can reverse swing or a miss), bowling to those experienced for these conditions Indian batsmen … Lyon is the only experienced spinner (and he too plays like a handful of tests every few years in India), while India plays with 3 for such conditions.

Not every pitch behaves exactly the same. There are degrees to bad pitches too. We look at general properties where if the ball turns like say 4/5 on day 1, amount of rough created on day 1, scores of less than 1,000 in India, Ind seamers bowling less 50 overs in the game, and so on.

There is no limit of dishonesty here.

Can you provide any instances of teams scoring 400 on square turner on day 5?

This is list of highest scores on 4th inning. Highest was 387 and even then team scored it on flat track. 300 has been scored 5 times. No team has managed to scored 400 on square turner on day 5 pitch against any bowling attack. Most of the even the greatest Indian team struggled to score 200 against week spinners when pitch had lot of roughs and assisted spinners.

Here batsman eased to 400 with most of out of middle order batsmen failing due to bad form against a bowling attack having a potential ATG fast bowler, one of the best spinner currently in the world.

If pitches were that bad then innings played by Sharma, Jadeja and Axar should go one of the greatest in history of test cricket, which isn't the case.

It's impossible for any team to score 400 on a pitch turning square from day 1 like day 5 pitch in India.

Exactly, your dishonest post here (and we know how you post dishonestly on SR on one particular player).

2nd, let me make it clear that I am NOT debating here. I post what I think is the situation based on numerous factors, therefore, there is no scope to for any changes. It is guys like you, who don't "read" what is being said.

Irrelevant stats as I already gave you an example of the Kolkata test which I think was an acceptable pitch - Link

Heights of dishonesty to go back to 1948 to come up with numbers (creating a strawman) when I have said that India has played cricket since 1930s, rank turners (of various degrees) are a recent phenomena starting with the test against SL in 1990 where Raju picked up 6 wkts (have a thread on it - Link). I have also said that in 2000s, India did not always have rank turners (Kolkata test's example that i already gave for e.g.).

I already wrote in simple English  - "Not every pitch behaves exactly the same. There are degrees to bad pitches too. We look at general properties where if the ball turns like say 4/5 on day 1, amount of rough created on day 1, scores of less than 1,000 in India, Ind seamers bowling less 50 overs in the game, and so on."

Well number 1 bowler can be interpreted in different ways but fair enough.

SG Ball + Red Soil + Hot weather + Dry condition = This is unique to India.  Shami has amazing strike rate because on surfaces with aberration you get great reverse. This is basic nature.

There are interpretation for best bowler.

#1 is ICC rankings only.

Anyway main point was that a bowling attack of Cummins, Lyon and Boland is good one.

Yes it is.

They should Introduce condition specific rankings.

Most sen bowlers. Actually all barring one or 2 do well in India or bangladesh. And lanka is not even a threat. Even there Cummins did poorly.

Pak is a joke.

If that is the case, please also disallow use of Sir Don Pandya for Hardik Pandya.

This name was brought over by his gay lover here at ICF who keeps calling our team as cheats.

I had made this request earlier also.

We can't go and edit every post. That's why I used the word request. It would be great if posters can do it themselves. It's not possible to force anyone.

That’s cool.

Fortunately, the issued is very much containable. Except for that psycho gay lover of his on ICF, nobody uses these adjectives for Hardik Pandya.

We should warn the poster - since he is a serial repeat offender and impose a temp ban on him if he still keeps calling names.

He has ruined most threads of the BGT series by calling our team as cheats and blatant cheats and what not.

Yes yes sand paper, no ball wickets, illegal umpiring in 08, rigging pitches to suit tall players, manipulating drs Lel is not cheating.

We are cheaters pty Ltd.
