Who are your 6 bowlers for the world cup?

It is given our batting is going to fail big time with Rohit/Rahul/Kohli.  Kohli may click against Pakistan. We will have to rely on bowling to bail us out. Who is our strike force in One dayers where you need bowlers who can sustain their rhythm.  Death bowling is also key as much as new ball. Bumrah is unlikely to take part. Even if he does he is unlike to be effective. We will need 6 bowlers minimum one or two can be all rounders.

How can you not play The Three Musketeers(Spinners) on the doctored pitches in India? The only tricky thing is the Kookaburra ball - else one of the three pacers can make way for Washington Sundar or Kuldeep.

 

This world cup will be a monument/symbol/affirmation of the myth and filth of Indian spin.

Ashwin will be a liability on the field...all 3 spinners above are very good fielders. Bishnoi is the only attacking option amongst the three spinners...Kuldeep narrowly misses out because Bishnoi is a better batter and fielder...

 

In fast bowling Shami and Siraj are no brainer, but for death bowling I would go for Arshdeep or Kuldeep Sen who has the advantage of bounce as well. I considered that neither of Prasidh or Bumrah will be fit by the time while Pandya is your default 7th bowler.

 

Umran, Harshit sadly has to sit on out.

if Bumrah is unfit, they will not go with a rookie in place so we will see Thakur ,Prasidh or  Bhuvi.  Chahar has unfortunately burnt his bridge in ODIs.

Apart from that the rest pick themselves. Don’t expect any surprises.

If TM can be little brave, they can play like below. Yes, batting will be little weak but you get 4 reliable bowlers.

Guys like Kuldeep can run through sides. Also someone who is new to crease will struggle against Kuldeep compared to say an Ashwin or any other finger spinners.

He does not have a good hard length ball, which constitutes about 70% of ODI bowling. 

 

Let's not mix up T20 bowling and ODI bowling.

oh yeah. Forgot him. Still will have only 2 pacers plus Hardik. Siraj ahead of Bumrah at this stage. Bumrah I don't know will be like before after injury
