Kohli said during IPL that he is playing T20s well iirc .. Rohit is like a politician, who could be scheming to stay relevant in T20s (due to associations with MI as well)

 

PS or the selectors could be waiting for the new chief of selectors to make the announcement

They can if they don't get influenced by the lobbying ... They took the initiative to move away from these seniors in T20s but the message to these seniors should be stronger otherwise they will keep on lobbying for spots.

These guys have literally carried their teams in T20 WC's off late. 

what are your thoughts on Suyash Sharma, very raw and less sample size..needs good grooming and long way to go..however he did impress me with what he did in such a young age,with lack of experience in such a big platform..

needs lot of domestic matches..

My lead spinner in Emerging Asia Cup...  If BCCI or selectors have brains or Vision left..  He is clearly 3rd or 4th best wrist spinner in the country already.

If India is serious about contesting better in 2024 world T20 they will not consider any oldies. But if they want to server the sponsors then they will consider oldies.

With the 50 over WC barely a couple of months away, this t20 series in windies is pointless.   Even the Asia Cup is of 50 overs this time.  They should hv extended the odi series in windies to hv 5 matches.

Tilak is selected. Bishnoi is back. Otherwise ok squad. Avesh Khan returned. No Jitesh and Rinku Singh,too.

Ruturaj picked for Tests. Dropped for T20.  Then Kishan is picked Jitesh is not picked.  Rinku singh not considered Tilak picked. Rinku is a better finisher.  There is no logical reason why Mukesh kumar, Aves Khan play.
