Suhaan Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 (edited) Very impressed with him,he has bowled so well here I think he is very underrated,he's up among the best upcoming fastbowling ARs He's crucial part of the powerful up and running Engine room of South Africa I have never found them this strong, with genuinely good athletes, this is their year Infact would be first in my list of ARs now Can move the ball, can bowl heavy balls, can go full, everything, you name it Trust which has from SA think tank shows what a specially gifted player he is He comes at 7 ,can knock around when needed Also has this tremendous ability to clear boundaries at will Lets discuss about him Edited November 2, 2023 by Suhaan mishra, Mosher and tweaker 3
Serpico Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Good contender for player of the tournament if SA wins it Suhaan 1
nitinbwj Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 He is THE biggest threat to Indian batting. Lethal left handed tall bowler generates lots of bounce, has pace and has more regularly taken wickets in PP. Also, can tonk the ball a long long way. Suhaan 1
Nikhil_cric Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 When Rabada, Coetzee and Jansen are in rhythm, it's the most watchable pace attack currently. Pure fire - Effortless pace, bounce and movement. Peerless pace attack. Jansen is easily the most impactful player in this World Cup. Scary potential. Suhaan 1
prinzo Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I'm sure Marco's brother (Juan) will make his appearance for South Africa in the future , a tall fast bowler aswell ravishingravi, nevada and mishra 3
MediumPacer Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Good bowler no doubt ,infact all 4 are pretty good, best pace quatret I have seen .
mishra Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 (edited) Watched him on his debut in Tests as well as odi. Was impressed by him immediately by his bowling and pottentially what he could do. Since then occasionally watched him against England. And in this world Cup, he is one of my favorite players. Never realised he will be handy with bat too. Superb find for world of Cricket. And best bit is his down to earth gentleman approach. Really really love to see him bowl Edited November 2, 2023 by mishra Suhaan 1
Adamant Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I have seen him in tests mostly and he used to bowl around 130-135, what has happened here? He is bowling 135+ consistently and even hitting 143 , with that height and 135+ pace he will be a menace the more mature he gets.

The Coetzee guy is very good but his pace drops sharply after the first few overs, he can get laterally movement at 142+ which is rare these days, also has a very awkward bouncer which rises steeply at the last minute Edited November 2, 2023 by Adamant Nikhil_cric 1

kubrickian Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 He will be most lethal under lights at Mumbai because of the extra bounce, otherwise at Kolkata or Ahmedabad wont be too much of a threat.

vvvslaxman Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Bit erratic. But that is hwere he is dangerous. Went for 87 runs against Srilanka. Also Rashid khan bullied him in the 20th over in one of the match. He can be erratic.

NameGoesHere Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 First time I saw Jansen few days ago he was hammering the living daylights out of England. Scored 75 off 42. I though SA had another exciting new batsman. Really looked the part. Then I saw him open the bowling at pace and I seriously was like: tweaker 1
prinzo Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 can someone post the video link of the Jansen brothers as kids meeting their idol Virat Kohli.
