Around 145 but he tried slower balls in the 19th over and got hit. Should have bowled normal pace deliveries.

at least he has retained his speed. while I didn't watch him bowl but I believe Mohsin khan also played a few games.

I hate when pace bowlers bowl slower balls just bcoz of the trend..one needs to bowl slower balls with intent too..you need to be very clearbwith what line and length you want to hit with it..

like Aussies bowled cutters diring wcup final..

if one just floats its not so clever..

I always used to like Dilhara Fernando split fingers slow ball..you wont be able to notice the wrist/grip change plus more likely to hit nice line and length..very handly for a pace bowler to get batters mistiming it..

First hand account from DK about Mayank's pace

In an indirect way, DK called Mayank a 140 k pacer when he was bowling 155 k+.

Also said that someone playing cricket regularly would have been able to tackle his ball.

That is DK for you.

Yea, he did not really mention Mayank speeds. He should have. He is retiring and should be excited for a young fast bowler as he himself saying that game is loaded in favor of batter. It would be good to see Indian commentators excited about new young talent.

He just admits that he finds 140K plus speeds hard to manage due to his lack of cricket and age.

Indirectly saying not just Mayank but anyone in 140K plus would have bothered him but not others who regularly practice playing those speeds. However no one regularly practices playing 150K plus speeds as those bowlers are simply not coming enough regularly.

He has always been a despicable loser. Perennial failure. Proper fraud. Zero in tests, odi and even t20

He has achieved nothing for India.

I remember he called shami and bumrah medium pace and then overrated foreign bowlers. Sorry phoren.

Such people should be deported.

Maybe colonial mindset. Some weird inferiority complex. I just csnt stand such people.

Ya not sure why this idiot keep mentioning 140 whereas the ball on which he was saved by umpire was 147 as well. He bowled more 150 and above than between 145 to 150. There was not a single ball below 145 till that match. So not sure what dk is smoking.

hahaha Kuldeep Sen another useless ICF hyped phaast boy getting the pasting he deserved...all the low iq neckbeards who were making fun of Unadkat's last game are super quiet.. There is a reason why such bowlers are not picked. They are injured 10 out of 12 months and when they play they bowl like trash

that's an incorrect statement.

sen gave 22 runs in his first 3 overs and got 3 wickets .also created 3 opportunities where he could have got more wickets.

in his 4th over ,  few snicks and mishits went for a 4 n he gave some 10 runs ....he bowled from 135 to 146k and atleast 5 balls faster than 144k

he beat batsman and got key wickets- i would go ahead and say that 4 overs 32 runs on such Patta wicket was impressive and he is going to play in the next match too-

on a patta - such a phenomenal performance- what will he do in australia/england/newzealand /south africa/west indies and USA.

Please see his potential.

Getting hurt and playing 4 out of 10 Matches is OK-  no worries at all. But make an IMPACT in all the 4 matches , that counts.

Mayank has played 2 matches and he has made such an impact that indian selectors are considering him in the world cup 15 in case he plays just 5 more matches and bags a few more wickets. he has taken everyone by STORM.

umraan/kuldeep sen are equally dangerous - do not consider them average bowlers.  a little rhythm and who knows both of them come back to play for india in any one of the formats- potentially they are very close to Mayank.

Sen is very good and he is also close to getting to play for INDIA....umraan - i beleive he will also play for India in 6 months

Remember an over from Bumrah a couple of months back which he bowled at 136 k to 143 k. And DK said that the way the batsman could handle someone bowling 135 k was xyz ....

Even the slowest ball of that over was more than 135.

TN effect...  Ever since his childhood he probably only faced bowlers bowling at max 130k speed..  He subconsciously is still probably stuck on that stereotype

You guys jinxed the eff out of him, poor guy is now injured

This was ot surprising. He is very young. So injury is expected. Cummins career started with spat of injuries. So was Zaheers so was Shamis.  There are only few guys that didn't suffer major injuries most of their career. Agarkar and ishant are case in point.
