2 wooden spoons in 3 years is embarassing....

and humiliating...

they need to clean house....

by that they need to get rid of both pandu and sharma and kishan....

no point keeping sky and boom if pandu still there (even if you dump rohit).....

there is lot of animosity between pandu / kishan vs rohit, bumrah, sky.....

Mi is a divided camp now.......

and will always be if you don't dump all the guys on one side.......

players have not supported Pandya. Pandya leaving GT was not a good decision. he was the senior most player there and had the command and respect.  Here, in MI, he was treated like some criminal by Rohit and MI fans and players too. Shifting teams is no crime.

the way he did it using under the table tactics and where $$$ spoke is criminal....

such a move has been unprecedented.....

all the chess pieces to make this move happen was a bad look....

paying pandu 50 crore....

paying GT 50 crore....

then having to make space by dumping cam green....

why would rohit who has been leader go away quietly....

when he was not even informed for courtesy sake.....

Rohit Sharma is a freeloader. Has been one for several years. Giving captaincy to Hardik might not be a great idea. But taking away from Rohit is the correct one. He was not performing as a player. Only guy never to score 500 runs in any of the IPL season

what under the table tactic? it is normal trade window transfer. you are getting these 50 cr numbers out of thin air? what is is wrong in trading Cam Green or even releasing him?  Rohit captained for 10 years and MI has always been decisive with there decisions. Even Tendulkar and Ponting had to give up captaincy.  Rohit was not entitled to captain MI for life.  There was nothing wrong in what MI did as a professional franchise.

Had they made SKY or Bumrah captain, none of this animosity would have been there. It would be seen as natural progression just like how Ruturaj took up captaincy from Dhoni

This is the first time I haven't attended an IPL game at the Wankhede in a given IPL season.

That is my level of disillusionment with the current set up.

We haven't been able to replace Pollard.

Pollard still plays in other leagues. Why not just 'ask' him to take back his retirement? :deal:

They tried to replace Pollard with Tim David but he needs to be shielded against leg spin in a chase with NRR of 10 with only 4 overs to go

Piyush Chawla was shielding him

Even Pandu was likely brought back for same role. All the while benching Romario who's better than both lol

As long as pandya is captian no player will ever be happy or secure or play as a team. You can keep trying.

Even Pollard would have issued with Pandya and probably would not have been at his best.

Hurts to see this.

-Wish they get a solid spinner. Chawla has been performing beyond expectations in the last two season. They can't go in without a solid spinner.

-They need to know their core 8 or 9 that does not change. They try too many changes. If you see all the top teams last 3 reason, you will see that their core is fixed. Constantly changing and chopping never works.

This is going to be a thread for the ages. All :mi: fans gather.

I don't see anyone stopping us now this IPL. We've found our rhythm. Bumrah took a 5er. The entire batting line up clicked. Even HaPa hit a few 6s.

We've peaked at the right time.

@Stan AFwas right all along. We just needed one good game to get back into our groove.

We're back.

I know I run the risk of being trolled re:this thread if :mi: don't do well. Kind of like @punjabi_khota's legendary thread.

But We are so winning this IPL.
