Chennai is first test against Bangladesh. We have 4 more tests in the home season.

He may look to sign off against NZ, a team against which he has 3 man of the series awards in test cricket, by far his favorite opponent.

Ashwin will most probably retire this year

I don't think he will goto Aus

But his home dominance is still intact ,he can like Anderson continue playing at home for atleast 1 more year

Jadeja started playing when india only had 1.5 ICC Trophies. He was the man of the match of CT2013 final which was virtually a t20 match. So respect where it is due. His amazing batting in the final and the ball which he bowled to buttler to get him castled with subtle change in pace but same action with 17 odd needed from 11 balls is stuff of legend..

^^^Haven't seen Rohit that fired up against any other opponent this tournament than that game vs Australia.

He was deeply wounded and had a grudge against them since Nov19

He looked totally gone that night after that Head 140

If he had his way ,would have dived into the depths of Arabian Sea with Cummins,Maxwell and Head

Good riddance.

Never liked him in T20s, was just playing due to his connections. Plus our selectors have format blindness.

Has utility in Tests though

@Nikhil_cric

He's probably the most underrated Test cricketer in the world. Rated by the likes of Cricviz as the MVP of 21st century Test cricket .

He's been a complete liability as a white ball cricketer for most of his career because he robs India of genuine batting depth at #7.  We keep complaining about batting of 8,9,10 and Jack.  But what we really needed was a good #7.

Yes we needed to play a batsman/ batting AR at 7. But for that top order had to bowl too.

In 2019 WC, he batted at 8 because we had Jadhav bowling and ofcourse Pandu

Luck. Shami s outswinger hit head and the ball flew past slips. Aus were 3 down. If that ball would have been in vicinity then they would have been 4 down..

Yeah, need more keeping options, anyone but Kela.

Think Kishan has burnt his bridges with BCCI. Maybe Pandya as captain can help him out.
