Where you get that impression ,he is best in bouncy condition when was the last time he scored in any bouncy pitch recently he was sit@@ in SA that was Kohli who scored in SA. And had a Perth test hundred along with 8 test hundreds in SA and Aus Vadapav has none

Vadapav definately has the game to do well in Perth.  Not saying Kohli can't but he is a survival mode player these days.  His lack of cut and backfoot punch will be exploited by Australia in Perth.

RGS would have provided a quick start as well.

What a shame. This forum has turned into a gathering ground for negativity. No surprise there, though—it's been a trend to constantly find someone to abuse or criticize, all because some frustrated individuals (all these jokers know who they are) seem to have nothing better to do with their time. Now, they’re hating on a guy who has given everything to the national team for over 15 years, just because he’s prioritizing his family. Shame on each one of you.

 

Family comes before everything, and both BCCI and Rohit have made the right decision, just as they did with Kohli on the last tour. Kudos to everyone involved for handling such personal matters with the sensitivity they truly deserve.

What the * are you two talking about? These *s are literally paid millions of dollars, and it's a privilege to play for India; that last guy also took a happy chummy leave on the last tour! How many people can afford to take these kinds of days off in our normal lives, how many laborers/workers, or even some well-off employees? This is typical fangirl mentality wherein almost everything is excused these days. The two *s also ran away from the last Eng tour, which we should've won, but of course that's also someone else's fault

There is nothing wrong if senior cricketers choose to play  test,venue they want to  play  .

But problem starts ,if they would have done the same while playing IPL.

 

The most important problem is that the team management make it certain that the player can just make a way back in playing 11.If a player has played well in his  absence ,,team management drops the next moment the senior player is back.

 

In the setup of our team young players ie Jaiswal,Jurel,Kishan,Sarfaraz ,Akashdeep are dropped even after match winning perfomance.

Even if Rohit doesn't play in Perth, we need to accept he is already 37. Won't be around for long, I would ideally expect him to retire post WTC 2025 and passover the baton to someone else. He will be 38 by WTC.
India infact need to start planning for the post-retirement setup of Kohli, Rohit, Jadeja, Ashwin. All are on their last legs.

Bumrah can captain in Australia, Gill or Ashwin can be his deputy. No need of giving it to Pant (and add additional pressure on him) or to KL (doesn't even deserve a place in XI).
