nair needs a chance,he should be in the 11 against england.

No. Can be tried in Tests but no thanks. He is 34 years old and has only performed in one domestic tournament. The ship has sailed.

You guys watch these farce like SMAT and Ranji and Hazare trophies. **** tournaments and certainly can't be used as a platform for transition to International Cricket.

Bro...I align with your sentiments.

But we literally don't have any other parameter to push the names. IPL is as farce as it comes by.

Atleast these tournaments will help us figure out "andhon me kana raja".

I agree..though it shouldnt be the only parameter but a bit of performance there can be taken into consideration but one needs to watch it first..if selectors just go purely on stats..whats the point..

We need someone to see the performance beyond the stats..who knows..may be some good scoresrs got few lives in between..and some 30/40 runs guy got bad decision etc..similarly for bowlers..

if you ignore performances like this for selections than no point even playing all these tournaments.

Jo national team mein hain, unhone kya jhak marliye in International cricket. We need a platform to push player to national team and domestic tournaments are the ones that perform the supply chain. Nobody comes like Tendulkar/Bumrah on merit anymore.

Mukesh was consistently bowling 135k-141k, the quickest left armer in India currently, lovely action, only if he was a bit taller.

He is slippery, even in IPL he touched around 144-145 ball here and there. he surprised batter with that and left Arm angle help in t20

He should focus on longer format. I think after he was butchered by ABhishek sharma in one over he disappeared from the IPL

reckon they need over 370,karnataka's bowling is not good but good knock from Smaran.

Day/night affairs are tricky.. early wkts and its a one way street

I meant visually. Does he have the reaction time against pace , the range of strokeplay etc?

Looks more of a legside player ... Has raw power and has a good temperament. Let's see how he plays on absolute turners or green seaming wkts
