These series are so full of drama. I wish we were a little more competitive here in Adelaide otherwise everywhere there have been punches and counterpunches.

Actually from 2001 itself. Only the 2011 Aus and 2013 Ind series have been exceptions due to teams being in transition.

This series has not been too dramatic. First Test was great under Bumrah but after that Aus has dominated with us celebrating avoiding follow on etc

Yeah we are on backfoot for third test in a row, may escape a huge defeat and face a normal defeat now. Not sure about all the celebration mode on socials.

Unpredictability & drama wise:

 

2001 - blockbuster

2003 - blockbuster

2004 - blockbuster

2007 - blockbuster

2008 - boring cos India was too strong

2010 - same except the one game where Laxman snatched a win outta nowhere

2011 - boring as India was too weak

2013 - fun but Aus couldn't play spin

2014 - great series

2017 - blockbuster

2018 - fun cos India controlled from day 1 thanks to Pujara

2020 - blockbuster

2023 - blockbuster

2024 - interesting for sure even though quality of cricket is low from both sides (barring a few players)

Though the quality of cricket in this series is pretty poor/low with exception of a few individuals.

 

An ageing team just about performing v another ageing team sinking with too many passengers.

Although wins in 2021 and 2018 were super huge but 2001 was epic level blockbuster

Actually the 2010 was extremely tense. Aussies had almost won the 2nd test and would have drawn the series. I recall we were saved by umpire for the last wicket where Ojha was plumb. We coped some really bad decisions in that test but somehow the most decisive one fell in our favour.

 

Laxman-Ishant partnership then that Ojha run out scare where Laxman got really angry and almost threw his bat him in anger was just epic.

Anyone who didn't just watch ball by ball, if you can pls watch from the time Reddy reached 97 till his hundred.

Cameramen, Broadcasters and Mark Nicholas in commentary were brilliant in that passage, capturing every emotion on the ground brilliantly.

yes Mark Nicholas is with Star Sports. Even in post match analysis, he was very appreciative of Reddy
