KOhli was okay in Tests due to his encouragement of pacers. But in LOI he was dog sh**. Did the same with IPL team. He would give one or two chances and rop them. Shivam Dube many other players were treated that way.  Only superstars were given importance. He never built a "winning unit" that would feed of each other. Always top heavy be it is Indian team or RCB team.

Not super stars it more with his buddies. He encouraged his buddies in RCB. KL and chahal who were really bad but played long enough. Even umesh yadav got selected.

Did not retain them... Imagine a lineup of KL/AB/Gayle/Maxwell/Kohli

I am loving this.

Let all the dirty laundry come out.

But sharma and kohli are shameless and not going to let it go. I see the problem is they will be kicked out of the IPL teams as well. Rohit sharma was on the verge he pulled some strings.

Let them keep exposing each other.

It will help Indian cricket in the long run.

Kohlis legacy has taken a severe beating in the last few years.

Rohits image has been seriously dented in the past month.

Rayudu was pretty useless. Kohli and Shastri deserve twice the blame for

1) Picking this mediocre player in the first place

2) Dumping him unceremoniously at the nth hour , leaving us without a proper #4

He had 3-4 years to select a middle order bat after dhoni but couldn’t even select a proper middle order bat.

He had some sort of motive in short formats I feel.. always make batting special than bowling. What else can explain the bowlers rcb had for a decade on that smallswamy ground

He doesn't have emotional intelligence to deal with other humans.

Spot on. His EQ is around 0 and you can see that the way he acts on the field, is easily triggered, and acts like a rabid monkey most of the time. He's a man child who never grew up.

The problem with that decision was that India invested 2+ years on Ambati Rayudu. Before the WC India went to NZ for a ODI series which we won 4-1. Rayudu had a great series especially in the 5th ODI when India were 18/4 batting first on a spicy wicket, he along with Pandya and Shankar got India to 252 and they won the game. Rayudu wasn't the greatest batter but the team was already struggling and to make such a change at the last minute was unwarranted. Virat Chose Vijay Shankar based on just few T20 innings and ODI innings in NZ & the home series in Australia. India already had Pandya as the batting all-rounder and Vijay hardly bowled leading up to the WC. So the decision to pick someone who was part of the team for few months over someone you had carried for 2 years at a crucial position in the playing XI was a ridiculous decision. If Virat wanted to try Vijay in the playing XI, it should have been after the WC. These sort of decisions was what was frustrating about Virat's stint as LOI captain.
