BCCI must be the most spineless org in the world.

He suffered same neck spasm when he was supposed to play for Surrey before England tour 2018 after playing full ipl.. So not new. He definitely doesn't consider playing domestic cricket..

Do you think BCCI and Agarkar have the balls to drop either Kohli or Rohit? They can continue to fail and will be the first names on the team sheet till they themselves decide to quit cricket.

 

Everyone and their dog know that these two are done, and have been past it for quite a long time now, but no changes from BCCI. And then BCCI comically comes up with their "10 point plan" or other weird solution to "fix" the problem when all it needs to do is merit based selection which would result in these two has beens to be dropped.

Ricky Ponting after conclusion of test series in Australia suggested kohli to take a break and switch off to come back with freshness and energy. The same thing was done by kohli in 2022 before his come back out of poor slump.

He did ghanta in 2022/2023, he always scores on flat pitches, he did the same. On wicket with anything he was same walking wicket.

That's because our domestic and international calender clash with each other. Most of the time they are playing for India during domestic season.  Now people are expecting them to play domestic first class cricket after they have played 10 tests over the last 3 months. I don't see any problem with Kohli's decision currently. They have already played nonstop for 3 months. If he had played, it would have been fine too but if he isn't, can't blame him.

The alternative is not to  use international matches for training. Just drop those guys and let them show their form in domestic and come back. When you do that they will have "all the time" in the world. Rahane is doing it. He played county after he was dropped.

He won ICC man of the tournament in WC 2023, that's more than what anyone accomplished in ODIS in those years, idiotic babbling won't change that.

These are the same guys who ask for Karun Nairs inclusion based on scoring 700 runs in a domestic fc tournament, and now they are criticising Kohli after scoring 765 in a ODI World cup, half crack ho kya?
