Who do we want to face in the FINALS - South Africa or New Zealand ?

We have a 100 % losing record against NZ in crunch games.

 

Even in the 2000 ICC WC edition ( the one where Yuvi and Zak debuted ) , we beat red hot favorites - Aussies and RSA in the quarters and semis only to lose to Kiwis in the finals.

3-0 whitewash at home.

 

These BCs get hammered by other teams routinely only to embarass us. 

 

Will 2025 be any different ? 

 

My fear is if RSA make it,  the law of averages might favor them.  

 

I would prefer the Kiwis. If we lose to them, then F it, we did not deserve to win anyway then.

But SA will be playing their first game in Dubai this tournament if they make the final. So, it might be easier for India if SA get to the final

You need Harshit against SA drop Kuldeep.  Varun did well against him in SA.
