US has backed off from engaging, China is in a position not to directly intervene. Baloch folks are capable of hurting Pak from the west. If we can involve the Taliban to take back their KP it will break Pak. If we de-escalate we won't get a better chance to break Pak. Will make the Kanglus keep quiet as well. De-escalation will be a win for Pak to get back at India with another terrorist attack at any time of their choosing. As someone in some movie said - they just have to be successful once (I think it was Family Man) - whereas we have to win everytime Master_better, ravishingravi, raki05 and 2 others 3 2
