I can't believe this. For straight 2 days they are shelling us with drones and missiles and we are not doing anything.

What are we keeping Rafaels etc for? This is beyond belief

We are clearly in backfoot here

We can use not going on the offensive as a victim card.

What exactly does our MIB do? Wtf are we not promoting this everywhere. Keep biulding it so the public sentiment cannot be turned? We didn't even magnify the atrocities of the Pak army in Poonch. What exactly are we trying to do?

We don't want to hurt civilians... we don't apparently want to offend the gulf countries? What kind of PC war are we fighting? This is just a one way ticket to doom. Even if we do fight back - we haven't used any of these narratives properly.

Twitteratis have been begging the MIB for support for the past 2 weeks. Why are we not leveraging assets across the world - high profile ones - pay them if need to amplify what Pak is doing?

Victor Gao may not hold an official title, but dismissing him outright misses the bigger picture.

The real concern is that China is increasingly open to supplying Pakistan with advanced military technology, potentially even the J-35. That changes the strategic equation, and India will have to respond sooner or later.

This evolving dynamic will likely force India into a major decision: whether to deepen defence ties with Russia or pivot toward acquiring the F-35 from the West.

How will Pakistan buy J35 with Chinese money ? China will not give Pakistan any money any more

I can't hear those, but can understand what you must be feeling.

Entire Pak border is on fire...but their special focus is on Jammu & Punjab.

Armed forces should now retaliate and bash the Pak system..specially when their defence systems are crippled. Maybe they're trying to minimize the damage to forces and hence playing the waiting game..before launching the response.

Yes Punjab and Jammu have forward bases that can strike deep into Pakistan and Islamabad, Lahore..

I think the tweet is about civilians

Most civilians tweeting from Non border states are acting its some movie or game we have to win.

The gravity of the situation is not present in non-border states. They should atleast know this and act accordingly. I think most people do only the ones who have not experienced war mostly younguns who are clueless

Which is why I do not recommend India take “theatrical” actions (likely for vote bank politics). The pattern is that India lacks courage to go all the way. It relies on more or less basic actions while hoping that things will eventually be stopped due to mutual understanding.

And the folks (Indians) at the border suffer - losing lives, properties, etc. But they are supposed to be “the cost of war” while the guy stating that sips coffee watching Netflix in the comfort of his home (why don’t such folks be the cost of war?)

Do covert commando missions without announcing - in and out often, leveraging on local gangs including through AFG and Baluchistan, etc, but such actions require vision, commitment, planning, etc,. requiring effort.

Don’t take half measures. If you start an operation, be prepared to take it all the way.

Most of those clapping for this don’t live in border states (or not even present in India). For many, this is another medium for timepass, while  giving  an opportunity for jingoism.

For many of these, the equation is simple, thinking in binaries:

* Peddle party lines (just ask your party to issue you a party passport). Anyone with a contrarian view is from other party.

* Hindu v Muslim, where if you support a Muslim, you are likely a Muslim too.

* If you analyze a situation from a neural PoV, and find the operation to be more or less pointless, you could be a Pakistani.

The Indian army knows how to react better than any of us. I will trust them on the military reaction. But what the hell is our civilian govt doing to help other than geting out of their way?

We haven't even been able to amplify all the faus pax of their dumb as rocks defence minister internationally. He is going around making a fool of himself and the person who has helped us the most is a Sky News Australia anchor.

Why are we so pathetic? Why

Agreed, it is about aam junta.  North Indians have borne more foreign land  invasions compared to south.

This is from NIT Jallandhar. For some youth, it is like a video game.
