Salute to our Air Defence Systems

Well, as the operation sindoor is on its last legs. We need to appreciate the advancement that we have achieved with our Air Defence Systems (Akash, Barak & S-400). 

They did an excellent job in thwarting any attempt of Air strike by Heeramandi either using PAF, Turkish/Chinese Drones or missile Systems.

 

I am sure, this is something even US & China wouldn't have expected it, let alone Heeramandi which is anyway governed by jaahil idiots. The world which so far has been awed by Iron Dome of Israel, now is equally amazed by the excellence of our Defence system. 

 

Full credit goes to DRDO, and massive thanks to our well wishers in Israel & Russia. I am hopeful that Akash Air Defence will now be a popular Air defence export in various countries of the world.

Akash air defence is already popular in Armenia after they were bombed in a humiliating manner by Turkish drones of Azerbaijan during Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Also buying from India is relatively cheaper than buying from Russia.

 

Although DRDO is doing great work, let's hope that weapons industry never becomes a profit making venture in India. To make profit, you need to generate demand, to generate demand you need more wars, which will make the world very unsafe

India is good against Türkiye drones and low-grade Chinese missiles. We should be wary of heavier artillery and missiles which were not fully tested. Bhikaris didn’t use all their costly weaponry, might save it for another day

Did India use Bramhos on Nur Khan nuclear dept? How did their AD systems failed to detect missiles hitting 9 military targets?

I don't understand what is happening. Now that both countries have announced stoppage in firing why are airports still shut in so many cities ? why are forces still alert ?

9 Military targets in 20 minutes. Tells you all you need to know about their AD systems, indigenous or foreign.

Brahmos is supersonic, can't be intercepted by any radar currently, probably launched using Su-30.

Formal talks are yet to happen. Current ceasefire is just a temporary understanding.

Can be detected by radar, but not sure if any other antimissile battery can intercept it

Gone are the days when DRDO scientists would kill themselves. DRDO is showcasing the talents we have and bringing out new features and upgrades to already existing weapons. I'm sure the home made weapons industry will pick up from now on.

That is inspite of so many DRDO and isro scientists mysteriously bumped off by either us or pak... Case in point nambi.

Turkish defence tech is very good and on par with Israel in innovation. I'm not sure if PAF had purchased the best of turkish military tech, but they will now going forward.

I thought we were swatting all their drones by our ADs. I have no idea about how good their tech is. Stand corrected, if so.

Nah man, Turkish tech is world class, they are as good as Israel.

@singhvivek141  @coffee_rules @MechEngIndia upgraded 200 of those locally to make it automatic drone detection, automated aiming and firing integrated with AI and machine learning.

 

All our Generals say its bullets are cheaper than the drones it shoots.

 

We have at least couple of thousands of these... There are reports that India will upgrade hundreds of these old anti air guns after their resounding success in Jammu, Pathankot and Punjab front.

 

L-70 is the actual unsung hero of Operation Sindoor.
