 I traveled around 7:40 and that was the case.

There were twice as many policemen at vidhana soudha metro station than cubbon park station...A simple video footage of metro station will confirm that

Stuff if the 80s, 90s movies like Shool, etc. Honest Police officers are co-erced to play sport and assist in some stupid photo-op and when it went southwards, they first suspend the police. He will be asked to go on leave for 3 months and will be re-instated again to buy his silence.

Stupidity of the franchise no doubt.

But how pathetic is this political leadership to buckle under the pressure from a cricket franchise. The state govt and KSCA can't just pass on the blame to the franchise alone. All three of parties are equally to blame.

Completely agree with you, ppl might find this insensitive but when you die in a stampede like incident cos of following a sporting victory, religious event etc the onus somewhat lies on you. As an Indian we all should be aware that police and administration is incapable in managing huge crowds, better take precaution then be sorry. Those kids that died weren't there by themselves, their parents or relatives must have taken them. Those ppl should be held accountable too.

Look at how people were thronging to Cubbon Park that day. So much crowd and hardly any police caused the stampede

Reports that FIR has been filed against him too. Don't know if true.

Him and Anushka are vocal people in general. But no thoughts on this tragedy, just shared RCB's post which IMO wasn't worded properly, these people don't care about the fans, do they?

That's why I called them disgusting franchise. Technically they might get away from any blame, but it seems they tried to mend their ways to ensure that event happens that day itself instead of waiting of 2 days, just because some players were flying out.
