Yes, England will drop Basheer & Woakes and add Dawson & Atkinson, and by doing so will stregthen both batting as well as bowling.

Lords was a golden chance, missed.

Bumrah did not take any wicket on the last day of the first test and Bumrah scored only 5 off 54 on the last day of the third test. He should be kicked out of the test team. Other pacers can do the same job in his absence. He put his name on the honors board, team gayi bhaad main...

Akash deep didn't take anythign either. We should drop him. Jadeja should be dropped because he didn't take any. Jaiswal didn't score runs alongwith GIll. Let us drop them too. We can play with Ravi shastri and Dinesh karthik.

Can anyone explain the weird spacing between matches? First match ..... 10 days .... 2nd match ... 3 days ..... 3rd match .... 10 days ... 4th match.

 

Why can't they space them out more evenly? For one, I am getting cricket withdrawal, but even otherwise, it just belies logic.

Jadeja plays in the team as a batsman who bowls part time.

Manchester should support seamers so we need 4 bowling options, hence Reddy stays. Washington is the spinner as we will need batting depth again. Plan for any changes in Oval. Team looks fine for Manchester, just the strategy and will needs to be more going into the game.

Nair is occupying a pivotal spot. But because he spent time at the crease without getting out first ball second ball they will persist with him. my gut feeling.

Jurel will anyways play if Pant is not fit. Will they bring in Sai ? That boy needs 5-6 games even if he fails. For some reason lets say he still fails then he should be given a few months to work on himself and then return. In Sai i see so much potential.
