What is notable with Pran is that his characters appear versatile where you do not feel as if he is playing the same character (or himself) in every film. So most Pashtuns in India are Deobandis in their school of jurisprudence. The red colour to hair due to Henna is mainly a Barelvi thing. It’s just odd that Pran’s character was from the Barelvi Fiqra though it wasn’t explicitly mentioned. crictime 1
