BacktoCricaddict Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) Self explanatory. Vote for **whom you want to win it** in case India doesn't win it. *NOT WHO YOU THINK* will win it. Edited February 22 by BacktoCricaddict
BacktoCricaddict Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 My vote goes to South Africa. I feel a bit sorry for them that they have been the best or close to the best team in many tourneys but never sealed the deal. It would be nice to see them break through this time (am not counting WTC).
Gollum Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Zim but highly unlikely. So if I am being realistic, I wouldn't mind RSA or NZ. First-time winner.
WC2011INDIA Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Anyone except India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, England and New Zealand. nitinbwj 1
Number Posted February 23 Posted February 23 You know your team is done, when you start looking for some other team to support. Would go with NZ. BacktoCricaddict and Norman 2
jf1gp_1 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Has to be SA. They are a complete team and yesterday they showed why pre tournament they were so highly rated.

Saffers may look a million bucks here and freeze the minute they go to SF. Always been the case for the RSA team. Ability-wise, no question, now they also have world-class spinners, which was a weakness for them in 90s and 00s. Last time they got lucky facing Afghans in SF on a pacy track. Afghans too were emotionally exhausted after beating Aussies just a couple of days before. sage 1
Bigg Brother Posted February 23 Posted February 23 SA will win this. Stars are aligning for this. SA vs England in final. SA to win it at the biggest stadium of India against whom they lost final last time.

Tbh they were never chokers in tests. Some of their epic 4th innings chases and back against the wall rearguards haven't been matched by famed Aus and Ind batting lineups. That format also gives you enough time to mount a comeback or multiple comebacks (as we saw in WTC F), or calm yourself down. No such room the shorter the format goes, you will have to make good intuitive decisions which they have often failed to do. T20/ODI is more unforgiving where if you don't seize the monent, you can become dead lost.
singhvivek141 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 NZ...for brother Rachin and Sodhi. RSA is a close second...for brother Maharaj
LordPrabhzy Posted February 23 Posted February 23 SA purely to destroy the ego of India media houses making offensive and cringe match hype adverts
