Popular Post Laaloo Posted March 8 Popular Post Posted March 8 This guy had issues with team management just a few years back. He always had talent but it looked as if he was wasting it. But he had a great domestic season and he was rewarded by the team. They were proved right. He came in difficult situations and ensured we don't take foot off the gas. Great comeback story. Ultimate_Game Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) Has a great attitude, shows up in tough situation and a team-man. Have loved him since he scored that knock against Pak in Asia Cup in 2023 rescuing us against Pak along with Pandya. You want such people in the team - ones who're clutch and show up when the going's tough and luckily we have a bunch in this team - Pandya, Kishan, Axar, Bumrah, Dube, Rinku, Tilak etc. That's the difference between the teams we put out in mid 2010s under Kohli with likes of KL Rahul, Chahal, Kuldeep etc, who were mental midgets. Temperament beats talent anyday! Edited March 8 by Ultimate_Game randomGuy, Tillu, Norman and 2 others 1 1 3
Frustrated Posted March 8 Posted March 8 One of the GOAT comebacks in Indian LOI history. Tillu and Laaloo 2
ravishingravi Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Its not just the runs. For me his technique, his hip movement, his power generation, his swing. Everything looks absolutely pristine. Tillu and Frustrated 1 1
adi B Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I have always liked Kishan ,Great that the lad fought back and earned his spot in the side . This tournament worked mysteriously for the team and a Few out of favour players - Kishan and Sanju being the prime beneficiaries ! Laaloo 1
Vickydev Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Respect to Indian Domestic Cricket, gets bashed unnecessarily. Pick players who are performing in their proper formats, and we should be alright Ultimate_Game 1

If ONly KOhli had played Ranji Trophy and all he wold not have been this bad in Tests Edited March 8 by vvvslaxman ravishingravi 1

Also using bit part players like Reddy in tests instead of specialists is another stupidity that Gmabhir does Vickydev 1

Need to pick players who are performing there in the appropriate format, and back them to come good
tapandrun Posted March 8 Posted March 8 This was a masterstroke to bring him in the side, played outstanding cricket. Has not been talked enough in the wc campaign. Most of the times Ind had a bad opening partnership in the wc but still he kept playing his shots, never let pressure built on the team. Still think he needs to work on his off-side game but great tournament for him. Lord 1
nitinbwj Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Kishan was looking to hit sixes from the word go. Understood the assignment perfectly and had the arsenal to achieve it. Gave us smashing starts.

maniac Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Ishan, Axar and Dube- these are the guys who won it for you. Rest of the performances would have been a waste without these guys holding it like a glue together. I will put Pandya too but I would say he has been above average over all. Frustrated 1
