Suhaan Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) 1 hour ago, G_B_ said: Agree with message from GG. Maybe could have been more cheerful given we have just won but i think ptovided this mentality we will win more trophies. The real question is how ruthless is GG. Surya is clearly a net drag on this team with the bat. Buy his captaincy has been decent. Does this mentality extend to team selection? Surya has been the tension buster in the dressing room,it could have gone either way,we could have packed our bags right after Feb22 game A chill personality like him also helped,he did spectacularly led in last two KOs,says much about his Captaincy acumen under pressure where he didn't wilt Edited March 9 by Suhaan sorak, express bowling, bouncers and 3 others 6
G_B_ Posted March 9 Posted March 9 And i can guanrentee kohli once done will slink away to London and never look back. He will talk over the phone and give "advise" to players. Ala Sachin. But will never get involved directly. sorak, velu, express bowling and 3 others 6

No issue. I hope Surya himself devotes to playing a lot more in leagues and domestics. Stop statements and get back to the grind. Needs a solid Ipl. Has a poor return on some very very poor batting surfaces. Suhaan and sorak 2

Got elected to parliament with more than 50% (with the grace of Modiji). Was a popular Mp from what i can tell. Coached teams to ipl glory with Kkr. Coached India to 2 ICC trophies. I am sure he had enough money to retire and become a commentator. A soft job. What exactly has Msd or even Sachin done? Will Msd still be whistle Podu again in his 40s? As mentioned before test cricket has not worked out. Needs to be replaced. But my hats off to him for his service to the nation. I heard most of his fees from commentary and coaching goes into providing free food to the poor. G_B_, Suhaan, velu and 3 others 2 4

He set up a lot of food kitchens in his constituency. Right call to step down as mp and focus on coaching. I think mp in RS on presidents quota makes sense.

nevada Posted March 9 Posted March 9 He is right, and this is exactly the right time to say what he said. Milestones felt like a consolation prize whereas a trophy win is the grand prize itself. express bowling 1

Still smarting from the wave of criticism after nz and saf whitewash. Nz he could brush under carpet but saf loss after playing so good cricket in England in good decks and then creating a morgue of a pitch in eden should be justifiably criticised
