i want that kindly identify which players are going to benefit and which players may get ignored-

 

- some players will benefit and some will be neglected or ignored. kindly identify and share.

like surya kumar may come back into t20

like Rohit willl play ODI world CUP

like Rinku singh ..he i being ignored where as tilak is getting a lot of Opportunities

like shammi wa being ignored by agarkar, parthiv may bring him.

Agarkar was supporting Mayank, Ashok , will they get the kind of support agarkar was providing them. share

 

i feel fast bowlers wil get ignored once agarkar is history.

Being Indian selector is a tough job. Pressure from state associations, politicians, IPL owners, fellow selectors,  players themselves above all fan armies. It is very hard to satisfy everyone. No matter who comes he will cop abuse. But as a selector if you have a vision you can somewhat overcome these hindrances. You still are going to get abused. But more than doing the right thing, if you don't do the wrong thing knowingly you are alright.

Gambir is the main issue his the one destroyed the test team dravid and agarkar combo was really good

Kicking ROKO out of Test team was needed. Anyone who sees Jaiswal for WC2027 over Washed Old Unfit Rohit already has a vision. 

He held press conferences on regular basis, there was a direction at some approach.

sticking with rohit at the top for another world cup would be pure administrative laziness. agarkar picking jaiswal shows actual vision

Did I talk anything about ROKO.He was the selector in 2023 world cup where Jaiswal should have been there in first place but after Pandya got injured this bozo selected Prasidh Krishna as replacement .

 

Who cares if he held press conferences, he is the most useless selector. Worse than that guy MSK Prassad.

 

Not to forget this bozo sent useless kamboj as replacement. He had no vision other than screwing deserving candidates.

Previous management had no vision, they did not create any plans for any replacements. 

 

Team was wining because of performances by lower order batters : Rishab/Jadeja/Ashwin... top order has been failing for years.

The only reason for the home wins were lower order batting and Ashwin and jadeja.

 

Ashwin is not there, they did not have any back-up plan for him , and ind lost 3 pacers under them. Now Ind does not have bowlers who can take 20 wkts in test thats the issues.

 

In addition to this , the current management is looking for a short cut get ipl players to play test , hoping the development time to adapt to intnl quality will be short.

This plan is not working , either they need to give ranji players chance and time in test to develop or use Odis to develop and identify players for test.

 

But are they picking and trying new odi players???-- No. In the past only top ranji player with 200s/300s have survived in test for long times, the other onles were those who were able to adopt to odis and then were able to make place in test. That odi litmus test is gone now.

The good thing he did is kicked out NPCs like Kohli and Rohit from test. he fell short of kick Rohit out of ODI team.

Is there any credibiliity to the hiring process? Parthiv being the selector? The guy lost cost us a series with his shoddy keeping in Australia. Being a selector seems like a luck draw, they make chits and pick one.
