Which Indian ODI bowler you have enjoyed watching the most in last 10 years

We have had numerous bowlers come in and go. In particular seamers. My favorite among all was Agarkar. He is someone I watched the most of till now and still think he would have been a great for us in ODI's even now. I always wanted him to play for us. I enjoyed watching Zaheer Khan post 2006 when he return from English county season and had become a brilliant bowler all of a sudden. The next couple of years, he was the deal for us in both formats. Now I am just loving the inclusion of Bhuneshwar Kumar. I hope he turns out to be atleast better than the palyers I mentioned above. He has all the skills to do it. It was good to see him as the most economical bowler in that run-fest game yesterday. Another bowler I liked was Sudeep Tyagi, but he didn't really get enough chance before he was dropped or got injured. I would like to see more of Mohit Sharma and Varun Aaron. Also, looking at the stats our best odi bowlers in last ten years are in this order 1.Agarkar 2.Pathan 3.Nehra and then come the rest along with Zaheer. Nehra wasn't perhaps the best death bowler, but he surely won us some great games. At times he was hated for his poor fielding, but he had played some crucial role in plenty of victories for us. His best spell for me was against Pakista in world cup semi final recently where he bowled his heart out with an injured hand. And who replaced him for final??? Sreesanth :)

Defintetely agarkar. Missed kapil's prime but even in later years he used to produce some tight opning spells.....this was just pre- jayasuriya era though. Zak in the last few years .

Has to be IPathan! No Indian bowler came close to his banana swingers at 135. Somewhere down the line, he lost his pace from 135 to 130 to 125 and then that's where his downfall happened IMO, he is the most underrated bowler Lately I want U Yadav to perform better than anyone. Watching him bowl with his pace is just pleasure. Never felt pace bowling this exciting from any Indian bowlers. Sadly he doesn't have too many fans.

No one has made me more happier other than Ashwin and Jaddu recently. It was just the fact that we finally have spin attack that has teeth. Even after all these ODIs they are just improving IMO. No pacers really other than Zak and Yadav.

Javagal Srinath is the best bowler, India ever produced, Javagal has best economy rate in ODI among all pacers and Zaheer is not as good as Srinath. Srinath is more sincere and quality bowler, He faced Jaysuriya and Gilchrist era together and got success most of the time

Ishant in CB series 2008 in Australia. Zak in 2003 WC before final. lately BK against Pakistan .

Zaheer started off brilliantly and till that 2003 WC was among the best ODI bowlers. Pathan took off from that VB series and for next 3-4 years was among the best new ball bowlers.

Zaheer khan Srinath (especially in WC 2003) Sir Aggy

Zaheer khan was the best pacer we ever had, Srinath the fastest but always bowling too short and not bowling to his potential till the *** end of his career, Pathan had a good couple years then his career went downhill, Agarkar was a buffet bowler and worse in tests, Srinath for most of his career played in an era when 220 was a good score, THE ONLY OTHER DECENT PACER I SAW WAS ANKOLA, kurruvilla was decent but selected when he was past his prime.

Zak among pacers,guys was a breath of fresh air when he appeared Among spinners,Nikhil Chopra,very economical and i liked his action.Quite underrated,i believe

no one has bowled a tight line and length consistently like kapil in the 80's. kapil was often exceptional among indian bowlers for cases like this. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64220.html the above match was what aussies would have experienced in Jaipur.7 an over was almost unheard of in those days when 250 was considered expensive.richards and greenidge were in murderous mood. it can't get worse. still kapil came off decently. another match I remember was the thrashing akram meted out to chetan sharma in 1987. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/current/match/64307.html Pakistan scored 288 in 44 overs, again very expensive in those days. again I remember kapil bowled very cleverly to dangerous hitters Imran and wasim in the slog overs. that kind of clever and tight bowling I have never seen from indian pacers again. srinath suffered from lack of variety at the death.his slower ball was a sham. he was often clueless in the death overs.though some of his spells up front was effective, he used to waste it by bowling too short. the 1999 crucial match vs aus is a case in point.srinath just wasted tough conditions and effectively put india out of the match. McGrath pitched it up and fired out Tendulkar and dravid. he made some amends in the 2003 WC. but the aussies were too top notch for him by then. zaheer can be on and off.he has bowled good ones and lousy ones.but was not as tight as kapil overall. ishant was the closest to high quality in the 2008 CB series. but those days look far away now. sreensath bowled some jaffas.but was frsutraingly inconsistent. why can't he come up with more of them? really screwed up in the head he was.

I am a big fan of bowling, especially in test matches. So, I have never really enjoyed watching any bowler from India. I have always dreamed of highly skilled genuinely quick pacers like Steyn, Lillee, younger Wasim, Donald, Marshall,Holding, Roberts, or a highly skilled spinner who can turn the ball on any surface. like Murali or Warne. Never found one in our country.
