He had so much time to play his shots and looked very elegant and all the commentators were gaga over him and anointed him the future India opener ..no wonder , he got selected for India's tour of England in 1996 ..started of well but he was made a scapegoat and never got any opportunity in the future ...He could have been a wonderful opener as he had technique and solidity ..
