tbf to him ,he was against a chucker at his best in that final.he smashed the daylights out of ajmal in the Ahmedabad t20.

That said I am not sold to yuvi at all but now that he's in the squad and a definite pick for the playing eleven,he needs to be given proper 3-5 matches upcoming amd his role should be well defined to him,he is here as a finisher and a hitter!!

A confident yuvi is best for india,he would have definitely learned from the wt20 finals,hopefully he amends his mistakes

Ya...i think he shouldnt be in playing 11. Poor batting and hardly bowls. Better get Negi in or hell Rahane wouldn't do any worse with the bat.

Time is running out for Yuvi. India needs to test Negi now rather than in WT20.

Sad to say this, but Yuvi looks more likely to cost us a game or two with slow batting than win games with the bat. Can't believe he had below 100 strike rate against BD! The coach needs to have a talk with him and help him sort out whatever demons he is battling.

The problem is anybody can see that he wildly swing the bat and do not properly connect ball, this clearly show that he is out of form.Unless by some miracle these problems of his vanish I don't see any hope , just madly swinging and by chance hitting a six or two will not sort his problem

Just watching his body language on TV gives off the impression that he is disinterested if he puts in a performance or not, if gets selected or dropped next game.

Selectors have cocked up and management seemed to have their hand forced and have to play Yuvraj because there is no other alternative big hitter in the squad (e.g. Manish Pandey Kedar Jadhav, Hooda, Surya Yadav etc.).

to be honest he wasnt that bad today, Did have a lil partnership. 

We have to stop passing judgments on players after very few games. 

Post his comeback he just faced 43 balls. Its very few balls to judge someone. Some players do well from start some take more time. 

But its imp to understand y he is being backed. The guy when on song makes is as gud as anyone. Even if not in his prime he still will be better than most. HE bowls 4 over and will get u imp break through. Not a gun of fielder anymore and has become slow yet pretty safe. 

There was a lot of noise during 2015wc to bring him and i was srsly against it coz of the idea of his ability against pace and those pitches. Also my biggest issue with him back then was Technical. His shuffle, balance, bat coming at an angle was to bad. Right now his body balance looks quite better. I think where he is lacking is confidence and self beilef. And self beilef can bring the best out of u i mean look at kohli and pandya guys with huge self beilef. 

Our other options- Rahane ......well ru kidding me. Where wud he bat at 4. N raina goes more down. Raina shud bat below in t20. N rahane even on hi best days wnt bat more 130 sr. And he is someone whom u cant be flexible at all. Yuvraj can be send in any situation not rahane. Rahane also cant bowl . Rahane is best suited to open or sit on bench. 

Manish pandey- well we didnt pick him. also he cudnt bowl. Why im emphasising on bowling is coz yuvraj in indian condition will give u 4 overs and wkts as well. 

Pawan negi- well his bowling isnt, his hitting looks like. But then again u cant expect more than 20-30 from him. Thats were someone like yuvraj can play a proper innings. But If he keeps playing like this yes soon negi will look a better option.

 

We have to be lil more patient with him. 43 balls is to early to judge. Yes 2014 scars haunt us. Still Thats past and you have to give him some time and lucikly we have few games. The reason to give him chances is what he brings to table no one does.  Ask urself NEgi,paney and rahane inform can add how much value and yuvraj inform can add how much. But yes his form is concern. But just be a lil pateint we ll get our answers soon. Against pak he ll be tested against Irfan, amir, Sami, and riaz and thats a scray bowling attack . But he ll be tested. 

Ill still want to give him few games . The reason for risk is how much he offers and its not that he doesnt have power left or cant time the ball. Yes he can, but what a plyers needs to figure out is how to score runs knowing his strengths and weakness. I wud wanna give yuvraj time to understand that his games isnt same anymore so he has to adjust it a bit and plan his game acc. 

 

And and And even if he fails, what do we do then can selectors drop him and pick manish pandey or someone like deepak hooda last moment

Well yuvi Guides Rohit to ad 50 odd runs in the partnership and later on Pandya plays thunder innings with rohit sir.I noticed  by the time banger lost 5th wicket, many people stands up and walked away from the stadium which is not good sportsman spirits, they should stays and watch game.

Probably pawan Negi's first chance came in only IPL  coz MSD hints yuvi in all matches.

When last time we were overseas for t20i or ODI selector select only 6 specialist and pandey.so if opener fails to impress or vise versa,KOHLI not has much more choice than selects failure player than try with replacement.

Same thing in Asia cup, bhuvi and dhawan will plays all matches even they performing so so., we had too many unfit bowler in australia, we should had Hooda or Chand who can challenge famous batsman in the team.

If we have 2 players in the middle order ( the other being Pandya ) , who can play at a very high SR,  our batting would be really dangerous.

Hooda would have a perfect fit in place of Yuvi. Selectors keep rotating the same players these days. Even Bumrah who is a regular in the team now would have been nowhere had it not been for injury to our other bowlers.

We should keep on trying new players in the bilateral LOI series.

Actually give them chances to perform and not keep them as passengers or send them in with 4 overs left.

Otherwise, we will never develop bench strength.

Dhoni does not like trying new players unless he has no other options.

Hooda is someone definately for future,

But someone has to tell him and baroda team mngmt that they shud make him bowl a lot of overs. 

Specially if we want to make pandya play odi, we need a 6th bowler in a batsman. 

Right now taking him, Even m not sure about him. He didnt bowl much this season

Also i rem him struggling a  bit against extreme pace in ipl. He was taking on mostly indian bowlers who are quite low on pace

 The thing wich worked for bumrah n pandya is we needed someone like them .

N if yuvraj fires we all know there is no that can match him , he is a confidence player . I have seen in past also him wen low on confidence looks lost and the min he gets some runs he become a diff player. 

Again m saying if he , if. Yes he can fail, just he becomes to valuable so that makes everyone wanna risk on him more. There is something better in his batting this time thats makes me take his side this time. Batting is all about body balance and confidence. I see  the body balance a lot better with him this time wat i saw in last 2-3 yrs. what he needs is confidence. Luckily we have time before Wc. 

Im really hoping for him to come gud, his success wud take this team to a diff level than success of any other player.

Its not always bout getting new player, exp does hold a huge value and they both contribute with the ball as well . also, Raina fielding is better than any newcomer. N in t20 ull have to score mostly around 30-40 runs which m sure these guys can.
