Ankit_sharma03 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Well Done, this Pak team is very likeable. Whole team looks disciplined and motivated. Credit to Inzy for taking put garbage like shehzad n akmal bros and misbah n younis for taking this team on their shoulders. When a team has a god environment it shows on the field. Asim and tweaker 2
HippoSucks Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Congrats. They could have easily won the series if they had made better selections.
gakgupta Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Pls take our rohit sharma.......he is pain in the neck for us....But u will stop winning test matches Oops, I forgot, you have your share of problems with akmal brothers. But good, you have moved on ans started winning the matches
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 super... well done and congrats to all pak fans :) Asim 1
Laaloo Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Impressive win. It was a heck of a series too. Obviously wanted Pak to lose 4-0 but the series was impressive. Asim 1
Asim Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Thanks Guys and Glad everyone here positively supported Good cricket throughout the series... Detonator and Rightarmfast 2
Temujin Khaghan Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 you guys should have finished 3-1 actually. bad luck... should have kicked out that black sheep hafeez a lot earlier. Asim 1
jalebi_bhai Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Played really well. Entertaining series though I only caught the highlights. Wonder how they plan on filling those Misbah and Younus sized holes in their batting line up that are going to emerge pretty soon. Do Mickey and Inzi have a plan? Asim 1
maniac Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Well played....thoroughly deserved should have won the 3rd test or atleast drawn it but given what was expected at the start...this is some accomplishment Rightarmfast and Asim 2

Babar Azam and Haris Sohail are easy replacements. But I don't see Younis retiring any time soon, certainly not after hitting a few centuries against the West Indies later in September.
Ultimate_Game Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 (edited) Well done Pakistan on a great performance and congratulations to the Pak team and their fans! Except for the 2nd Test Pakistan competed in every match and with a bit of luck could have taken the series 3-1 or 2-1 had they capitalised on their strong position in the 3rd Test. Nice to see Pak team so competitive and consistent and proving why they had to move away from Shehzads, Akmals and Afridis. They should follow a similar template in shorter formats as well instead of playing the same tried & tested failures. Edited August 15, 2016 by Ultimate_Game Asim 1
sandeep Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Congratulations to the Pak fans. Have to admit I thought they would do a lot worse than they have. Shafiq and Azhar will probably gain a lot of confidence from this tour. Sami Aslam has shown a few flashes. If Hafeez is out of the test XI, then that is a step in the right direction for them also. I feel that the bowling should get a lot of credit for this performance. And not just the performance on the field. To me, it looks like the the threat of Pakistan bowling deterred England from really using their home advantage with seamer friendly tracks. They probably thought that it wasn't worth the risk giving Pak bowlers extra assistance - and assumed that their team would outplay Pak playing away from home.
G_B_ Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Congrats Not surprised with the Pak bowling. But the batting has been the surprise. Lords win was anchored by Misbah while the win at the Oval was anchored by Younis. Two big players stepping up.

Problem with ODI/T20 Team is most money come from them and they are more popular among South Asian cricket fans. That is why Afridi has bigger fan following despite his limited test record. There is lot of politics involved in selection of limited over teams which is not the case with test team.
