4-0 against England would be SWEET

I think we have been very kind to Pommies with the pitches so far ..NONE of them were turners that we prepared for Saffies.

We simply outplayed them on " good Indian pitches ".

They have won 2/3 tosses and are yet 2-0 down in the series.

For sure they have quality batting, odds are they would come good in atleast 1 of next 2 matches if pitches are flat.

If they win one more toss, bat first and score 450 +, we are looking at a lost opportunity in atleast 1 test match.

No harm in now preparing 2 turners and put our foot on their throat and totally demoralize them with 4-0, just in case we lose another toss.

It would be sweet revenge for our 4-0 in Eng

Am sure Kohli thinks this way :)

8 wicket win for us in the 3rd test.

Crushed the English in this match !  Sweet victory !!        :nice:

I enjoy it the most when we win against either England  or  Pakistan

This win has also  shown those people the truth...who were implying  that we win only if we win the toss.

It would be great to win 4-0 n looks possible as England seem gutted now, worries for us are the injuries n form of Rahane, Vijay n most batters other then Virat n Pujara, Ashwin n co saved us one too many times.

It is v imp to go with Nair (a bat) next, Vijay and Rahane are not amongst runs. Rahul is not fit. Good for us Cook is out of sorts and Root cannot stitch a big partnership with anybody good. All the talk about Bairstow and Stokes, they haven't scored when it mattered. As long as we have true cricket pitches we are good, too much spin will hurt us more as our bats are not superheroes on spin tracks in this series.

I think unless injuries they will retain the same team.

Kohli might surprise us. Also, do you know that the statement in your signature was improvised by the actor? The script just said, "leave the gun

I really want a humiliating innings wins in next two tests .

This England team has been a real thorn for us so hopefully we can leave some scares in them for future with proper pummelling

Agreed. We could not beat them in India in the last 2 home series. And they beat us 4-0 in their home series.

Time to be ruthless and deliver 4-0 for some retribution.

Rank turners in Mumbai and Chennai please...

On rank turners, England's average spinners become world beaters  and on pitches like Mohali the trully world class assert  themselves.. Its like how Indian pacers become menacing on seaming tracks.

I'd rather have similar tracks like Mohali

England side has 2 world class batters - Cook and Root and a long batting line up.

The odds are in favor of them not missing out on a huge 1st innings score the next time around on a good batting surface like Mohali- which for all practical purposes would mean a lost opportunity for a win.

To hedge this risk - we must prepare turners. Even if their mediocre spinners come into play, we may have a low scoring total.

But ultimately, Ashwin + Jadddu  + Yadav  WILL  prevail over Adil + moeen.

Adil and Moeen is nothing like Swann ( who was world class ) and Panesar

After a promising start, England have lost their heads, as all western teams tend to do in India, So much so that they've sodded off to Dubai to "get a change of scenery". That's like the Aussies going to Russia for a few days halfway through an Ashes tour.

Yes I get Cook has only seen his daughter for ten hours or whatever. Now I don't want to sound harsh but couldn't Mr and Mrs Cook have timed their "quiet nights in" for a time when England won't be on a long tour nine months later?!!!

Too much is being made about Rajkot first innings score in my opinion, India missed too many catches there and England capitalized on flat pitch.Indian catching needs to improve they are asking their bowlers to take 23 to 24 wickets in a match.

Top order needs to produce more they cannot be asked to bail by lower order batsmen every single match. Rahane needs to produce in order for India to win next two tests.

Don't prepare rank turners, the last 2 pitches were fine and should be continued.by all means prepare rank turners for the Aussie though.

cbf,

We dont want England to pile on a huge score batting first and tire out our bowlers. We can win on a turner pitch and we should go for it.

For Aussie tour - apparently its "new Test venues" so folks are worried pattas are gonna get rolled out
