After losing the series 0-2 in New Zealand, Pakistan are now in Australia to play 3 tests and 5 ODI's. They are looking to win their first ever test in Australia since 1995-96 series. In fact, Pakistan hasn't even drawn a test since then. 

 

Australia themsleves haven't been too impressive either and with a new team, their batting order is still not secure. However, they were able to get a win in the last test against South Africa and that must give their team a lot of confidence. 

 

 

So prediction time

Pakistan will get trashed. Their bowling isn't that great, and on flat pitches Warner is simply ridiculous. 

 

Its great that Australia discarded their useless players in the third test match against the NZ. They should still drop Wade I think, but rest is good.

Aussie odi pitches are flat...mostly 350+ wickets....pak just don't have the team to do that....at best they will score or chase 300-315 on their best day or sneak a win at times when the opposition just has an off day and collapses.

 

I will go with 4-1 Australia

 

if they are playing T20s I expect pak to do well as their brains are tailor made to sustain a very short format.

I think Aus messed up scheduling by putting day/night @ Brisbane.  This game will turn into a bit of a lottery and give Pak the best chance at winning a session or 2.  They would have had zero hope at Brisbane in a regular test match.  

 

 

Still think its going to be a Pak-wash all around.

What happens if Pakistan by miracle win the series, you will be able to tolerate them anymore.How easy they have forgotten their whopping in NZ. Best chance for them to win in Australia. 2-1 Pakistan. Odis who cares.

The pitches won't suit Pak's bowlers. Warner, Smith, and Vogoes will run wild. I also think Starc will get under their skin.

 

5-0 ODIs Aus

 

The ODI teams have a massive difference in class. The Aussie batting is endless and bowling is elite if Starc plays. Pak also seems to struggle with leggies when I've watched them, so Zampa could have a good series.
