maniac Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 A 300 and a 200 in the same calendar year and in the span of 6 tests I believe. well done Iconoclast, Sidhoni, Rightarmfast and 1 other 4
Jimmy Cliff Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Well played. Good enough to open for a World XI now. sourab10forever 1
Trichromatic Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 1000 runs at avg of 62 as an opener. Sami Aslam is better than likes of Hafeez. With him Pakistan have a very strong batting line up now. sourab10forever 1
Sandeep99 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Well done. One of those bright spots in Pakistan's line up. This guy has a method unlike other Pak batsmen. Direct replacement of YK..
Asim Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Pak Test batting lineup looks good beyond Misbah nd Younis
Sajid_Rana Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Not a single cheap run scored on biased home dead tracks like most. Mosher, sandeep and Temujin Khaghan 3

It's good for the team that they dropped Hafeez forever and giving Aslam chance at right time. sandeep 1
Rightarmfast Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 Good stuff. I will go ahead and say this is one of Pakistan's finest display of batting in a long long time. Perhaps in the last 20 years. This includes the likes of anwar and sohail and all. I really like this unit. But let's give them some time. Let's see the consistency.

Autonomous Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Another 58 Runs and still not out overnight alongside Younis Khan after the score was 2 wickets for 6 runs.

Should have been runout for a cheapie, but credit to him. He's been the only one man enough to fight, while the rest of the Pak batsmen stain their chaddis against Aus.
imranraf Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Definitely the best test batsman for Pakistan at the moment. He is turning into a world class batsman. Nice to see him achieving his potential. We need few more batsman like him.
BeautifulGame Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Genuine case to say that he is the best opener in test cricket at the moment. Has a staggering year and tour to Australia.Has broken the long standing record of Gavaskar as well.

sandeep Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 How quickly YK went from - he's an ATG!! to old man got to go. Do you think he'll come clean about his actual age once he retires?

I have never been a much of a YK fan but respect him for runs he has scored in Test Cricket. His batting methods are not convincing, His limited ability as a batsman is evident from his poor Limited Overs record. sandeep 1
Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 YK is a ftb sort.Azhar Ali has done well in Australia.
