this is the best bowling attack u could get in india...of any teams barring india
I think aussies will not let our tail wag and let us score 500+

aus top 5 might match poms top 5 in india but their lower order is not of same caliber

That wagged against England was not tail. None of Ashwin, Jaddu, Jayant are really tail.

I love that Swepson got picked, he is full of energy and a very good young talent, and you need 2 specialist spinners in India, but I have no idea how Agar got picked when we already have Lyon, Swepson & Maxwell in the squad, the only reason we should have taken a 4th spinner is if he was also a top 4 or 5 quality batsman and Agar certainly isnt that.

The team i would have liked to take would have been:

1. Burns (in form and good against spin)

2. Warner

3. Smith

4. Khawaja

5. Handscomb (keeper, Wade is awful don't care what anyone says)

6. Marsh

7. Faulkner (controversial i know, I wouldnt have him in the test team normally but i think his bowling really suits indias slow pitches with his change ups and cutters etc.)

8. Starc

9. Swepson

10. Hazlewood

11. Lyon

Mitch Marsh might not make it to India.

"Mitchell Marsh's fitness is under a cloud mere hours after he was named in the India tour squad, as a troublesome right shoulder has forced him to be withdrawn from the remainder of the ODI series against Pakistan. Victorian allrounder Marcus Stoinis was named his replacement for the Pakistan series"

Definitely, Mishy will be dropped from the next series. Hopefully Kuldeep gets selected.

A better squad than what MClarke got 4 years back which India toyed around.

Not sure about that.lot of young batsmen against ash, jaddu and jayant.I see lots of potential for batting collapses.

Agar,Lyon,O keefe :hysterical:

Batting looks good though with Smith,Warner,Marsh,Handscomb etc...watch out for Renshaw

Give them minefields to neutralize their batting and pretty much cash in an easy 4-0

Outside of Smith, do any of their batsmen look like they can handle our spinners in a test match in India? Maxwell can maybe hit a quick 50, but I think we just battled an English batting line up that is much better suited to countering our bowlers. Good practice for dealing with the Aussie batsmen.

I thought Renshaw looked real good against Yasir but then again everyone from 1 to 11 have good against Yasir in the pak series but I thought he has good footwork even better than handscombe

Your team as less proper batsmen & too many bowlers

Its 4 tests right?  I want to see golu kuldeep blooded after racking up 3-0.

England series saw the identification of 2 young prospects in Jayant Yadav and Karun Nair, along with the resurrection of pint-sized batsman who can keep wickets a bit.  I want to see Kuldeep start off his test career, and hopefully another new face in the mix somewhere, I refuse to add the name of the ICF's most lusted after prospect here.

Is Jayant Yadav recovered?  I see Karun Nair is playing Irani trophy along with Saha.  But no news on Jayant Yadav.
