no one is saying it is green but dry pitches too can have bounce. It depends on the soil and how hard it is rolled. Red soil is often more suitable for making bouncy pitches than anywhere in India.

no one is saying it is green but dry pitches too can have bounce. It depends on the soil and how hard it is rolled. Red soil is often more suitable for making bouncy pitches than anywhere in India.

Everyone got trolled...if it is a minefield with uneven bounce usually express bowlers like Starc become as dangerous as spinners as well but rest of the Aussie attack already out of the equation

Dry pitch can be quick too. Most of the bounciest pitches are dry. You need pitch to hard to provide. Pitches with moisture are usually far slower.

Bounce doesn't mean balls fly past the batsmen.That only happens when there is pace in the wicket.Any pace will die out once pitch is dry.

 

Bounce without pace is a true flat wicket and very good for batting.Like most of the wickets we played in Australia last time.
