This test was extremely important for us. The last one was a disaster, the whole momentum was with the Aussies, whole lot of pressure on India, losing this one would have totally deflated us and there would have been a good chance to lose 0-3 or even 0-4.

Yeah if we end up winning 3-1, people are likely to say "India lost a game and then normal proceedings ensued...it was expected" and you can't even blame them for thinking that way considering how our season has been.

But only those who really watched the game would know what a superhuman effort it took to arrest this slide.

This series could have easily been 0-2 with us messing up one more game under extreme pressure and ending the series 1-3 or worse.

Now we are full of confidence and are most likely going to rain down on the Aussies in the next test. Hopefully we keep up this intensity.

Control ur childish outburst kira. Series hasn't been finished yet. India got away due to sheer luck.

Instead of worrying about me worry about 33/6, 36/6 these numbers.:phew:

Remember, Australia got thrashed by a borderline minnow like srilanka just a few months back. It just illustrates the quality of the Australia team in Asian Conditions. Any reasult other than a 3-1 victory for India on these doctored pitches will be considered as Australia's Victory. :agree:

How are they doctored pitches, the statement "pitches which turn are doctored is ridiculous". Since when Srilanka become minnows at home. Herath is one of the best spinners to have played this game.

Winning tests is not easy so any series win is good even at home.Who told you any result other than 3-1 is considered a win for Aussies.

Feeling sorry for the OP. Lol. I'm sure he wasn't expecting it to backfire in such manner lol. :D

Is this Indian team the least dominant no 1 team in the history of cricket? I m thinking about starting a thread on this topic. :phew:

Agree, really fail to fathom how such a weak non-dominant team went through a 17 tests unbeaten streak .
