And he does that and he does it at good pace too. At the moment he's around 140 kph, 143 tops.

In the final match, Chahar's fastest ball was 136.6 k. Lots of balls in the 125 k to 130 k range.  He has not even touched 140 k in  5  matches he has played in this IPL.  I don't know how Fleming is claiming that he is around 140 k  !

He has bowled some 140 k + deliveries in the tournament, but that is not his normal speed.

But replaced by Kaul in the Trundler quota.

Yes but on any given day I will take kaul over undtut, atleat he has quick yorker and a good knuckle ball, tbh one such trundler in t20 is OK for variety in the  pace of the attack, 1000 times better option than that retard unadtcut.

Anyway Unadcut priority has changed now to test cricket. He is more interested in real cricket, youngster can never forget the sacrifice he has made unlike daddu.

in the finals speedometer was malfunctioning .bhuvi was bowling sharp but 1 ball was at 130 next at 140 .

We see this speed pattern with Bhuvi in international matches too.

Other pacers were bowling at their normal speeds in the final.

Even if we consider the whole IPL, Chahar has not bowled around 140 k or even close to it.

One mustn't read too much from the ipl performance ,the conditions ,management, international colleagues etc put various inputs which can enhance the performance of players to bowl good 4 overs but for long sustainable bowling option one shouldn't give lol too kuch priority.

We have already tried crap players from the past who've failed miserably in intl cricket ,chahar can bowl 2-4 good overs but most likely go for plenty later on

Chahar mostly bowls in 120s ,most recently he has bowled in 130-35 channel in t20s,so can expect he will unleash his dibly doblies after 2-3 overs of oddity in odis and tests

he was hitting 140 before his injury and that interview of Fleming was when he picked those wickets again SRH early on. After coming back from injury, he has bowled very much within himself.
