Pathetoc by Paine.  What happened to the jokes?

Awful leadership bu Paine.  Saying need  these players what  messsage that send to current team, that no good and you will be axed when these 2 come back.  Applaing negatice statement which dont help team when lost, he needs to learn from Indian TM on postivity

Edit. Copy pasting King Tendulkar's post from the other double thread.

Smith and warner would have made a huge difference. That's not even a question.

Can't even comapre warner and Smith to other 3. They are nowhere near close to their level.

It's like comparing kohli to shehzad.

In a game of possibilities & probabilities everybody wins, at least anybody can.

What you're proposing is a definitive alternate outcome, except with an indefinite past nothing is definitive. What if Aus lost all tosses this series (or in 2004 vs India) would their bowling magically make up deficit, in terms of runs conceded?

Funny thing is, Warner would make the team better on paper, but he doesn't get on with at least half the side now after Cape Town. :hehe:

The other banned player, Cameron Bancroft (he of that infamous interview with Gilly), made his return in the BBL today for Perth Scorchers against Hobart Hurricanes in Launceston, and contributed the grand total of 2.

Paine should thank his lucky stars Shaw got injured and Agarwk did not play from test 1

Or would be 3-0

not only that ... that catch of Virat when Virat was clearly not out. It was plain luck that, that  catch was  given out , especially  considering  that a bit more  unconvincing case was ruled in batsman's  favour in the case of Dean Elger.

Also in India , Virat missed a test due to injury( might had been a factor in his paltry  returns in that series as well)  yet India won 2-1

And Dharamsala was a pace bowling friendly wkt as well. So all these make Paine's whining even more sweeter. Hope , in the Sydney test

Pant & co rubs it in more into his wounds  even using 'sand paper' as  a catalyst.

He is speaking the truth here. But somehow he comes across as a whining schoolboy. Maybe Pant should babysit him

In 2004, we didn't have SRT. In 2017, Kohli did nothing and also got injured, still we won the series. And this is their home. They are struggling at home just because two players aren't playing. We didn't have bumrah for first two tests in England. We also had BK injured there. Imagine these two playing all five tests in England, series result could easily have been different.
