Yes Budhe kehl lo, play world cup 2023. India got so much young talent, and we are still stuck with oldies who were done 5 years ago to tell you truth. Even Pakistani team turned around by selecting youngsters. Imagine Pant opening the inning, that man alone can take a game away in first 15 overs. Someone like him is needed in every team, and we got a player ready for the stage, but yaari dosti keeping him away.

This is not the right stuff to get worried about. I care more about our selectors growing a pair and picking players based on merit.

 

Who cares if he never retires? If there comes a point where he isn't good enough to be in the squad, he shouldn't be picked. Period. He could be 25 or 45. Doesn't matter. This isn't that complicated, really.

I have no problem with him "wanting" to play. But it should be upto selectors to pick players based on merit.

Selectors aren't selecting any new players till these oldies decide that they want to retire. Someone like MSK can never drop Dhoni even if Dhoni wants to play 2023 WC from looks of it. Tendulkar got a lot of hate when he was at the end.

 

 Sad, but thats the truth. For sake of Indian cricket, they should retire at the right time because they are never getting dropped just like this.

why hsould they retire,yuvi was man of match 2 games back and dhoni hit a 50 1 game back
