WE call these kind of analysts as "Scorecard Analysts"

if a player A bowls well in a game , it doesnt mean player B ( who might be a better bowler  than A ) will also bowl well

Apart from kohli who batted fir maximum overs. Dhoni came to bat around 20th over and batted till 46 overs. Kohli hot out in 30th and jadhav played till 50th overs. So basically jadhav and dhoni are the one who screwed us.

fact is we were 30 short . Blame lies on dhoni who didn’t rotate strike . It’s ok not to be able to hit sixes but for heavens sake , 2 runs an over from 40-45 was criminal . Scotland Yard should investigate match fixing

 Man can write a book after his retirement(2023 WC). India needs his services till then. He single handedly took the abuse from B grade Indian fans while A grade fans stood beside him during the tough times, where he had to carry oldies. Eventually he ended up kicking out senior virus like Gambo and Sachin to go on to win CT2013.

Had Afghan batted first they probably would have got a similar score. Add maybe 10-15 runs more because of the lack for pressure.

 

Now India might have still chased down the total in the 48-49 overs with Jadhav and Dhoni  even if there was a top order collapse. Then the chamhcus would go Gaga over Dhoni playing according to the situation and guiding Jadhav.

 

The point is these guys are so one dimensional that they are not good enough to play according to situation. They would have played the same way regardless of the situation.
