The Delhi southpaw, however, just named two players who have shrewdest cricket brain – Ajay Jadeja and MS Dhoni.

“I have huge respect for Ajay Jadeja’s cricketing acumen. For me, Ajay Jadeja and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are the two shrewdest cricketing brains I have ever interacted with,” said Nehra.

Jadeja was at one point supposed to be the next Indian captain especially in LOIs before the match fixing scandal took him out.

There was a lot to like about Jadeja as a cricketer. He had the kind of attitude back then a lot of players nowadays in Indian team have. Casual happy go lucky and generally not that bogged down by pressure.

That decision to bowl first in semi finals at the Gardens still haunts me. That WC was ours if Azhar didnt had a brainfart.
