Absolutely.  And add Garner to that list.

Prasidh is perhaps the bounciest frontline tall quick in India now.  Avesh and Porel are not bad either.  Khaleel can be bouncy if he hits the deck hard ... but he prefers to have no definitive bowling style.

yes, forgot both big bird and the vastly underrated colin croft (who bagged nearly 5 wkts per match). maybe khaleel can turn it around but he's all over the place as of now. not sure if avesh can extract that much bounce. agree regd prasidh and porel (pre-injury).

Khaleel has been confused by our former bowling greats ,left armers,he was doing fine till Asia cup last year, but being a left armer ,as far as i feel has been a disadvantage to him, people thought of him as a rare breed who should be given proper guidance so that he can help our side which had lacked a quality left armer for quite some time now

But every tom dick and harry  advised him and then he lost his natural action, pace

Saini not playing in the 2nd ODI either.

He could have replaced one of Bhuvi or Shami.

What is the point of playing both these stalwarts together in such a low profile bilateral series !!

We should have tried out Saini in ODIs in this series.

Then the series will get over and Saini will be lost like others were ,who were not tried in right formats

Problem is even if they get selected, they don't get a proper run, which has been the norm in last 5years,which is why we haven't been able to find a youngster who could take place of these washed out lot

We never had issues with finding top batsmen. But luckily we have a group of fast bowlers that are match winners. Only issue is they probably don't have a lot of years left except Bumrah may be. Also injuries are another concern. India has to come up with atleast 3 more match winning bowlers. Bowlers with skill, thinking. Pakistan fast tracked Shaheen and they are already seeing the results. India has to invest in a group of young fast bowlers.

First BCCI should investigate real value of NCA rehab experts !  Something really messy thing is going on there it seems .

Almost all young bowlers are injured . They go to NCA after injury , bowl 6 overs post rehab and then again get injured .

What diagnosis of injury these people have done for players , has that been re checked with any specialists .

People like Nagarkoti went there for foot injury ..   Now its almost 2 years he is suffering from totally different injuries .

   Saha injury total mess up.

I hope Ganguly takes this matter up .

In fact injury diagnosis should be done by best experts in the world and based on their rehab programme , work should start.

In this digital era , why they can't get services of best doctors for each case from around the world ?

We need not take pakistan route....they don't have any proper domestic structure to groom the youngsters and hence they throw them into big arena and expect them to succeed...

Slowly we are building good domestic structure which is backed with India A games.....So, bowlers should come up the ranks...

However, young and exciting prospects should not be delayed too much ...esp...fast bowlers...

Honestly, exciting prospects are getting the chances pretty quickly.....for example....Pant, Kuldeep, Shaw, Gill, dubey, shankar....

But some of them has to toil hard like Mayank, Vihari because they didn't had the nature flair......
