Will we see Kohli's hegemony challenged by Rohit?

Last night Rohit spoke as if he was actually the leader of this group ,he looks in command on the field as well.Its basic tendency to let this affect you and feel challenged by your peer. It will be worth observing their relationship  from now on .We used to hear stories of various past greats of ours on this issue and I see another combo adding to that list.

that's true, but if kohli can be ousted there will be a power vacuum since rahane is too diffident.

First let him confirm his position in test team. In LOI he has a nice niche as a gun player he wont mess around with it.

Kohli is only 2 years younger to Rohit and he is not going anywhere in ODIs in the near future.

Both know they are two big names in Indian cricket and need to be on good terms. Also nowadays with the amount of money and opportunities due to IPL etc. people are not that bitter at other's success. All big names have good chance of being leaders if not the National team then their franchises. 

 

Also Rohit's Brother in law Bunty Sajdeh is also Kohli's media manager who gets all the Crores for Kohli so they will be nice to each other.

I would not call it hegemony but it is fair of have three captains for three formats. Kohli should not have that much power concentartion. No way.

No. Kohli is a dead cert to play in all 3 formats as no.1 choice. Rohit made debut before Kohli. He is yet to reach a position where he is an automatic choice for Tests.

His test captaincy has been spot on. He has revitalized our pace attack.and is quite an attacking test captain. It helps that he is his own man in tests

How do you know? If one has to jump around and shout like a clown to look confident then it's different.
