if we're going to start making judgements on someone's character based on snippets and behaviour here and there then Virat Kohli is the devil incarnate.

There is always an anti-indian tone in his commentary. He was the only one to say India doesn't deserve to be world no.1 .

Agreed with that, he is meant to be seen as an all time great fast bowler and not some intellectual or scholar, so his comments should not be taken seriously. He is critical of IPL but is himself guilty of not touring India in 1978 when he was busy playing Kerry Packer series.

yup he would always try to take moral high ground

or could it be because Gavasker wrote in his autobiography, 'Sunny Days', that the Jamaican crowd 'should go back to their trees' to describe their boisterous response to a bouncer barrage from Holding

Commentators should openly ki$$ Indian a$$e$. It’s the only way they will get in some fan’s good books.

How dare they criticise Indian team.

Abbr dhakkan no one is talking about criticism. But the obvious bias for one team and putting down another was plain to see.

Holding has been more sober on SuperSports commentary as compared to what you guys getting on Indian channel in India. We are gettin superSports commentary here. He’s been decent. Though when we go in UK, I expect him to act like a Jerk when commentsting for Sky Sports.

There is no Indian channel seperate broadcast. We are also getting the same supersport commentary

Where you guys hearing Sanjay then? Because I did not hear Sanjay Manjrekar at all? I have seen a lot of criticism here for Sanjay on this tour’s commentary from many in India?

I don’t think what he said is racist. He just said they belong in jungle and are uncivilized. Is that racist ?

He said it in frustration after the incident described in the story. Don’t think he was being racist. Just said in the hear of the moment. So it sounds racist but he said it in frustration.

Hmm, interesting. Can’t.  say much then. Definitely sounds racist to put it in a book a long time after the event had taken place but then it also still shows frustrating tone that he had not forgotten the incident which made him think and put it like the way he did.

Let him do that man! As long as it is not very vicious. He is a bit of a straight shooter as well, and I will take that kind (even if he is biased) over someone who just heaps praise all the time almost like a sycophant. With the complacement Indian mindset, the latter is more harmful than the former as they can use the criticism as bulletin board material for motivation.
